 ~~Lilly POV~~

I walked up the worn out steps of the house she once lived in.

As I walked I pushed every bit of sadness I had to the side so I wouldn't show my feelings in this time of need.

I walked up to the door and lightly knocked.

Dottie opened and my heart fluttered.

"Hey, babe," she greeted me.

She pulled me in close and gave me a heartwarming kiss. She then stepped aside to let me in.

I walked in, my heart thumping like a jack rabbit's foot.

"Your dad found another one last night," Dottie told me.

"I heard... how old," I asked?

"Fourteen. Her name is Holly. She is very afraid and won't come out of the room we put her in, Ginger is working with her right now," Dottie said as I went to the living room.

A group of young wolves playing in the center of the room.

They all seemed to rage at the age of ten to twelve. One of them I recognized as May's little brother, one who wasn't born with the automatic gene of a werewolf but now he had a forced one.

"Hi Lilly," he said.

He was in overalls, with jeans and boots. Scruffy brown and black hair laid close to his bright hazel eyes in a wild mess.

"Hi Bengi, how your big sister," I asked?

"Peeved that I had transformed so young. Though I can see I'm breaking through to her," Bengi said with a smile.

"Bengi," whined an unfamiliar face.

She was eleven looking with a pink dress on. Her blonde hair silky down her back in a loose ponytail. Her dark green eyes set on Bengi's.

"When do I get to seek," she said.

"Soon Angie," he promised.

When they locked eyes the little girl pushed and looked away.

"Ok," she simply responded.

The little one who looked a lot like Gin and Rin looked at them, only he was wearing a baggy t-shirt and a pair of barely visible shorts.

"Why can't I seek," he asked?

"Cause you have the last three times," snapped Angie!

"Ok, ok," Dottie interrupted.

The three heads turned to look at her.

"You three go play in your bedrooms. And don't bother Yang or Jodie," she told them.

The three took off down the halls. All of them giggling.

"Dottie, your so good with these kids," I told her and she smiled at me.

"I know, now for something more important," she said to me.

I took that as our cue to be more secret with our talk.

"Is that about them," I connected to her.

"Yes," interrupted a voice in our thought.

I jumped and looked up the stairs.

"Wally," I said with relieved voice.

Dottie looked at him. "This was going to be a private conversation... three just happens to be a crowd," she said in a low mutter.

I looked at her. "Come on, don't be so harsh on him," I said.

"Besides," Wally said with a brief pause. "It's not going to be three. Lilly, your father is ready to see you."

I looked down at the ground for a moment. Everything inside me twisting around. It had been a long time since he had seen me and I had seen him. I didn't even really know what he looked like anymore.

I started up the stairs and Dottie followed behind me.

"It's ok," she connected to me. This time she made it definitely private.

We got up the stairs and as I walked I could hear wolves. Unknowingly they were sharing their thoughts.

"Where am I," one cried!

"I need to get out," another.

"They'll kill me! I'm a monster! I don't want this," their thoughts started to make my head spin.

I shut them all out. Not one; unless forced, could connect to me.

We reached a door at the end of the hall and Wally opened it.

"Lillith," my father spoke in his voice.

I walked in and the lights were on. My dad stood up.

He was in normal clothes. A black shirt and some pants. His orange hair; the doppelganger of my brother.

"Dad," I greeted my emotions starting to crack through.

"Is it true," he asked me and walked closer?

I was frozen in my spot when I realized what he was asking of me. In a now weak tone, I answered him.

"Yes, daddy. It is, Rin is dead," I said and at these words, he was over me and hugging me in a tight grasp.

"Oh Lillith dear-" he was crying.

I had never heard him cry before. He must have cared for us more then I had ever thought.

Tears flowed down my face.

I then heard the door slowly shut and the two who were behind me now weren't.

  ~~°°~~

As we both calmed down he sat in his chair and I sat in one in a corner.

We both sat there in silence for about a minute before I could really gather the words I had to say. I knew what I would say would come out harsh but there wasn't much else I could say.

"We both know you didn't call me here just to ask one question. So tell me, why was I really called here today. And why not Farris," I asked? My composure was back and I was ready to speak professionally like my dad always did to me.

"I didn't call Farris because his feeling on this topic will be different than yours. I also didn't involve mine or his beta's cause of the things both of them might do," he told me with a harsh tone.

I flinched, what did he mean by feelings.

He continued "and I did to talk about the spike in werewolf transformations."

"Yeah and," I retorted. Though not harsh or mean.

"I think it is someone who just arrived."

"Like who-" the sudden realization cut off my words.

I launched from my chair and looked at him.

"Why the hell do you think Aire and her family would be causing this," I shouted at him!

He just looked me in the eyes with no emotions at all.

"Look I'm just saying, she comes and slowly our population increases," he said. "Oh, plus that cat showed up as well. Only she is mostly in Farris's side of the woods."

"So what? It's not like Arie can turn into a Cattus. Only werewolves are real! And we can be explained," I said, my anger still boiling.

"Just cause you have never seen them doesn't make them fake," he said smoothly again. "Besides I have people testing the theory as we speak."

"So how are you testing that theory," I asked sitting back down?

"You will see," he said with a grin.

His grin gave me chills.
