"Those... are your mounts...?" Rimsak asked as he just blinked as Malik and the girls brought their horses around.
"Yes, they're nothing special. They're the equivalent of legion grunts," Malik said as he shook his head, before patting the neck of his bay nag.
"Right....." Rimsak just shook his head in return, before turning and walking off.
"Where are you going?"
"To get my horse."
Malik paused, before sighing, "Alright..." he couldn't help but wonder what was so special about Rimsak's horse. He turned and double checked the straps on his bay gelding, the horse obedient as ever... The sound of heavy hoofbeats drew his attention and Malik turned... only to stare shocked, if not a little slackjawed... as Rimsak's mount trotted towards them. The stallion was massive. The beast's legs were thick and strong, with a thick, high tying muscular neck extending into an even thicker, strong and wideset back. The obvious draft horse was jet black except for a wide blaze going down its face and turning its muzzle pink and grey, as well as four white stockings. The horse had an impressive amount of feathering extending down its legs with an immensely thick mane that Rimsak had tied back in an intricate spider-web-like braid while its thick tail seemed to be braided and wrapped around itself.
"Well... it appears to be a work horse." Malik commented, trying to find something wrong with the almost perfect animal. The war horse didn't seem bothered at all by having Rimsak in full armor riding atop an already massive saddle with extra weapons and supplies attached. Malik was mildly impressed the beast wasn't armored... then again.. Rimsak wasn't riding into battle currently...
"Clearly," Rimsak agreed, "Which means he'll last much longer than... THAT." Rimsak explained as he pointed to Malik's shaggy bay nag.
Malik blinked, and looked back to his horse... good point... "Yeah..." he paused for a moment, before sighing, "Ugh alright... where did you even find this?"
"Falcon's descended from an old breed... a friend," he looked to Terra and Talea then, "Happens to have a breeding herd... but mount up, the day is wasting."
They all mounted up to begin the trip.

.
A ways into the journey, and Malik was running out of ideas to talk about.
"Malik..."
"Yeah?"
"Are you going to be quiet at any point in our travels?"
"Uhh... no. Yeah definitely not.
Rimsak nodded, "Thought so."
The three sisters thought that listening to the conversation had been a bit amusing, but Terra was more interested in what Rimsak had to say, however, so turned toward him and asked, "So... what kinds of things might we see as we travel?... What places will we stop at?"
"Well... for one, you'll see how... different life is in the conquered lands compared to your home... as well as int he various keeps and such. Estella rules supreme but she has divided her land into... segments, provinces if you will... each ruled by a different ally or whoever she decided to give the keep to at the time..." Rimsak explained, "No two provinces are alike."
"And what will it look like when we get to our destination?" Terra replied.
"Hmm... the next city we reach will be Alasdair.... it got a little damaged when we took it but the current rulers have taken great care of it... it is a good trading destination..."
