Claudia's POV

The rest of the ride to the beach was peaceful. A little talks here and there but there wasn't any shouting or yelling like earlier. Jack was quiet and that's a miracle. He didn't talk at all. He just kept quiet the whole ride.

It was my turn to drive so Finn pulled up near the Gas Station. I got out of the backseat and went to the driver's side.

"Gas is almost gone. Finn fill it up. The rest of you can do your business. Go to the restroom now cause we wont be stopping anymore." i said plugging my phone on the aux and played "But not often by Microwave", I rested my head on the head rest on my seat and watched as the kids go to the store.

"You like rock music?" I turned my head to the voice and found that it was Finn while filling up the Gas. I nodded my head in response.

"What band do you listen to?" he asked. I got out the car and went to where he's standing. I sat on the passenger side window and thought.

"Well, I like this band, the one that's playing, Microwave, All time low, Nirvana, Mayday Parade, MCR, PUP, aaanndd All American Rejects oh wait also Paramore. There's more but I'll just tell you what bands that i listen to everyday." i said while he nodded. I looked at the ground and he spoke again.

"Do you um, listen to other artists?" he asked. I looked at him and i just realize now that he has freckles. He also have brown eyes and his now curly hair suits him. He looked grown up now although Jack and him are almost the same age. Or do they? I turned back to the ground and cleared my throat.

"Well, there's Troy Sivan, Sam Smith, Selena Gomez, Lana Del Rey and Halsey. I like EDEN also. What about you?" i finally asked turning my gaze to him. He looked at me while putting the gas refiller back. He smiled and thought for a bit.

"Well, I actually like the bands Frights, 
Tame Impala, of course The Beatles, Twin Peaks and fidlar. Those are good bands. The best band is calpurnia. They're really good to be honest." he said really proud chuckling at the end. He combed his curly hair with his fingers and closed the gas cover thing.

"What about a non band artist?" i asked walking to the driver's side and got in. I fixed the rearview mirror while he hopped in too beside my seat. He put his seatbelt on while i put mine and started the car.

"I like Mac Demarco. He's an amazing singer to be honest." he said shrugging his shoulders lightly. I drove near the store and parked there while waiting for the little ones. I turned my attention to him and smiled a bit.

"I like him too. He's good. I went to one of his concerts with Brandon.." i said remembering the time when he and i went there and almost got into trouble. I shook the thought away and looked back at Finn. His face went soft and sympathetic.

"I heard what happened to him. I'm sorry." he said giving me a small smile. I nodded and turned my head towards the store.

"Its okay. Thank you. I guess it's really his time that day. Its just.. Its so sudden and we were going to watch a movie that time but this stupid driver was on his phone and he didn't even stopped." i said looking at Jack who has alot of chips on his arms and some soda.

"How was he as a person?" Finn asked making me turn my head towards him. I smiled as i remember Brandon's silly actions.

"He's funny and sweet, he cares alot for his loved ones and his friends. He's such a hardworking person and so respectful. His efforts are so adorable, one time i saw him helping Jack fix his broken bike and they were talking about Jack's movie. The one you guys were shooting the horror one?" Finn nodded understandingly.
