Everyone was outside the deck when I came downstairs. They were either laughing or eating something. Claudia walked towards me with a bowl of cereal. She was dressed nicely with her red shirt and baseball cap on. The Polaroid hung on her neck as she takes a seat outside the deck with the others.

I went to the kitchen and Sophia's there making herself some cereal.

"Hey Finn! So are you gonna make a move on her yet?" she asked. I looked at her and sighed as I pour the cereal on my own bowl.

"No Sophia. I think it's better that I don't or better yet not at all. It's for the best. No one will get hurt." I said walking away but I felt her hand grab my wrist. She looked confused at what I said.

"Dude.. You love her. What changed your mind?" she said softly. Claudia was in the living room now looking through her phone.

"It's my own choice Soph. It's my decision. It's better that I don't tell her anything okay? Besides, she's older than me and if we get together people will think it's weird. Her own brother already think it's weird okay?" I said softly, pissed because that's not what I wanted. I wanted to be with Claudia but what Jack said is true. People will think it's weird and I know both of our parents won't approve. So I guess its better this way.

"So you're just gonna let that get to both of you? Finn, alot of people are dating with a huge age gap now. So what's the big deal if you and her do the same thing? Finn, if you don't do it now, you'll regret it in the future." she said looking at me in the eyes. I sighed and looked back at her.

"I can't Soph. If the fans finds out about this they will start haunting her. I don't want that to happen. She's been through alot and she's still at the stage of letting go."

"Finn, are you hearing yourself? She's at the stage of letting go because of you. If you hadn't invited her here, if you hadn't talked to her, I'm sure she would still be the broken Claudia. Finn, she's changing because of you. So if you don't make a move on her i swear to god.." Sophia said, taking her bowl of breakfast from the counter and walked away. I stood still on my spot and thought about what she said.

No finn.. You already made up your mind. You need to forget about what you feel for Claudia.. She's too old for you. Remember, people will think its weird.. Fans will start riot, they'll hate her and send mean things to her. The last thing you want to hear and see is that Claudia getting hate or threats. I thought to myself. I sighed so deep and rubbed my face with my hands.

"Finn? Are you okay?" i heard her voice. It's so soft and it sounds so fragile like she didn't want to be hurt. I turned around and she stood there by the counter with an empty bowl in her hands. Her small black bag pack on her shoulders. Her hair laid on her shoulders to her back. And she had least make up on its almost bare.

"Yeah.. I'm okay. Don't worry." i said. She looked at me for so long, as if searching for any lies. She averted her eyes from me and looked down, her hat blocking her face from me.

"If i did something wrong.. I'm sorry." she suddenly said. I gasp a little at what she said, making my heart beat quicken.

"You didn't do anything wrong. Why would you think that?" i asked glancing at her from my bowl that's been sitting on the kitchen counter. She looked at me for a moment and then looked on the other side.

"It feels like you've been ignoring me. I thought we're friends now? " she said looking at me in the eyes now. She looked hurt.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be like that. I just have alot in my mind right now." i said swirling the spoon on my cereal. I didn't have any appetite today for some reason.

"Okay. Well then i guess you wanted to be alone right now. I'm sorry." she said putting her bowl on the sink and then walking away.

Im sorry Claudia.. But i think we wouldn't be friends anymore.

Claudia's POV

Do you know how it feel when a stranger starts talking to you, making you feel like you can start over again and then suddenly ignores you? Honestly, I'm alright with that if there's a valid reason. Finn doesn't make any sense. One he's friendly and then later he's mean. Like what the fuck? I'm so confused right now. I know I'm being weird and shit but dude.. He made me feel like I'm important. Like whenever he's there, my life just turns around from being dark to happy. I think I'm starting to like him and i know its wrong. He's 16 for fucks sake! I could go to jail!

"Claudia? You okay?" i heard Jack say from my right side. I was sitting on the couch by the window of the bunk beds, watching the waves hit each other. Its surprisingly sunny today and not that hot.

"Yeah. Just thinking." i said coldly. I heard some footsteps coming closer and the spot beside me moving.

"What's wrong?" Jack said taking the polaroid that's resting on the other seat.

"Why is Finn suddenly cold? Like, he's been ignoring me." i said still looking out the window. I can see the parents by the beach, tanning and talking while they have drinks on their hands. The other kids were there also, talking the adults.

"Is that what you're thinking? Finn?" he asked, his attention now on me. I shrugged my shoulders as a response and he narrowed his eyebrows.

"Do you like Finn?" he suddenly asked without hesitation. I turned my head to him and he looked serious.

"Jack. Do you really think i would like someone who's younger than me?" i said suddenly regretting my question. I don't know why i feel like I've done something i would regret for the rest of my life.

Jack breathed out what seemed like the breath that he's been holding in.

"Good. Because that would be fucking weird. And i don't know. Maybe Finn's just stressed or something. I heard he'll  be playing with his band somewhere in this area tonight. Maybe we could go there with the others." Jack said excitedly. He stood up and pulled me up with his hand.

"Come on Claud! Let's explore the area before we go tonight." he said as we got out of the room. The others were already at the living room. Sophia came up to me with a huge smile on her face.

"I found this!" she said showing me a beautiful shell that has like unicorn color in it.

"Wow, that's cool!" i said and we both went to the front door with the guys behind us.

"Finn aren't you coming with us?" I heard Wyatt say. We all turned to look at Finn and he sighed and stood up. Nick ran towards us.

"I'll drive. And it's my own will and because I'm bored." he said taking the keys from the counter. We all hopped in the car and unfortunately, i had to sit beside Finn. He scooted over and made a huge space for me.

"Thanks." i mumbled as he nodded. Just then, Nick started the car and drove away.

I just hope tonight will be different. Like maybe he would talk to me like the last time.. I hope..
