Chapter 19

NIALL'S POV

"I love you Niall! Will you marry me?" The girl in front of me asked. "Sure." I answered. I never reject a fan whenever they ask me that question. I always saw yes. She had a wide grin on her face. I love our fans. They'll never fail to put a smile on my face. I can't believe that it's been two years since we were discovered on X Factor. Everything still felt surreal. I never thought we'd come this far. The girl held my hand tight before security told her that her time was up. She walked away happily. The next people who entered the room were three girls. The girl on the middle beamed with joy when she saw us while the other two girls were looking down on the floor. It seemed as if they were both trying to avoid our gazes.

"Hi! I'm Annabeth." The one on the middle chirped. "Hey." We all said simultaneously. "I think we should pick her." Louis whispered in my ear. He gestured to Annabeth. Before I could even disagree, Louis turned to Liam and whispered in his ear. Annabeth was okay, she was pretty and all but I'm not really sure if Harry would like to go out with her or any other girl. Ever since Kate left he started acting weird. Yes, in front of the fans he'd put in a smile and look happy but when there aren't any people around but me and the lads, he'll just stay in the corner and sulk all day. I could tell that he's having a hard time, especially today since we were in Kate's hometown.

Louis clapped his hands together and said, "Well, Annabeth, congratulations. You're going on a date with Harry tomorrow!" Her mouth formed into an 'O' shape and her eyes were widened with shock. The two girls beside her shot their head up and looked at each other. They looked really familiar. It's like I've already met them both before. But I don't recognize Annabeth so maybe the two girls just look like someone I knew before.

Annabeth broke from her trance and started jumping up and down with joy. "Really?!" She exclaimed.

"Yup." Louis made a popping sound with the 'p'. "Oh my gosh! Thank you, thank you, thank you." She hugged Louis and then went to hug me and the other guys.

We all talked for a few minutes before the security came and told them that they only had one minute left before they should leave. We stood up and gave the three of them hugs. "Um- Have we met before?" I asked the two girls. Their names were Audrey and Kim. Their eyes widened and they looks on their faces made them look like they been caught. They locked eyes for a second before they turned their attention back to me and shook their heads vigorously. That's strange. I could feel that something just wasn't right.

Audrey, the blonde one, tugged Annabeth's arm. It seemed as if she was in a rush to leave but Annabeth had that shocked look on her face that she had since she found out that she was chosen. Now that I think about it, she looks a bit pale compared to when she walked in the room just a few minutes ago.

"I guess I'll see you tomorrow then. I'll pick you up at eight." Harry told Annabeth with a smile. Annabeth had given him her address so it wouldn't be difficult for him to know where to pick her up. She nodded while Audrey and Kim both supported her out of the room.

"I'm going out for a bit. I'll be back in a minute." I walk out the room. When I spot Audrey, Annabeth and Kim, I follow them. I was about 15 feet away from them. I don't want them to know that I'm following them. They'll probably wonder why if they found out I was just a few feet behind them. Honestly, I don't even know why I'm doing this. I just got this weird feeling at the pit of my stomach to do it.

Thankfully, there aren't many girls around. I follow the three of them outside. A girl rushed towards them. I wonder who she was. I couldn't see her face cause Annabeth was blocking her. But I could see enough to know that she was wearing a pink dress. I wanted to get a better view so I started walking, making sure that none of them noticed that I was here. I stopped when the girl they were talking to had her back on me. The three girls turned around and walked back in but the other girl in the pink dress was still standing there. She had long brown hair.
