HARRY'S POV

What was I thinking? I had one day left to be with Kate. One Day! But I just blew it. When I saw Kate walk in our hotel room, my insides bubbled with joy. Unfortunately, it all disappeared when I saw her with Zayn. He had his arms wrapped around her waist. They were so close to each other. I can't believe I'm saying this but it actually hurt to see them together again. I knew for sure that Zayn still had feeling for her. I just hope that Kate doesn't love anymore. I know, I know. I'm being selfish but I can't help feeling this way.

I don't know what came over me but when I saw them together, I wanted Kate to see me with someone else too. That was one of the worst decisions I have ever made. Kate wouldn't be affected at all. She doesn't even like me that way. Even if I pray every single day for her to be mine, it will never change her feelings. That's a fact that I'm still trying to accept.

"Where are we going?" Annabeth asks, bring me back to reality. She was grinning widely at me. I felt a pang of guilt inside of me. I was using her. She was great and all but she isn't Kate. She wasn't the girl I want to be with right now. She stared at me, the way a girl would stare at someone they liked. A voice at the back of my mind asked, why? Why can't I just like her back? I hated the fact that mu feelings were stuck with Kate but a part of me doesn't want to let go. Not until I know that it's finally over.

"How about we go to the coffee shop across the street?" I offered. I wasn't really in the mood to go anywhere far from the hotel.

"Sure." She says happily. If I look at her long enough, she’s actually really pretty. She had long brown hair like Kate but her hair was bit darker than Kate's. Her eyes were blue. It was to look at. I must have been staring at her for a long time because she turned away from my gaze and blushed. I chuckled. She looks cute when she's blushing. Maybe she could be it. The key to moving on and getting over Kate. I'm not sure about this yet but I should at least give it a try.

I held my hand up for her and she gladly took it. She interlaced our fingers as we crossed the street. I looked around to check if there were any paparazzi around. I sigh of relief escaped my lips when I saw that there weren't any around. I wouldn't want anyone following us around while we were on a date. They can be distracting. The media would go crazy if they found out that I was on a date with Annabeth. Rumors would probably begin about Annabeth being my girlfriend. Well, she isn't. Yet.

We entered the store. It was a little coffee shop and there weren't a lot of people around. We chose a table by the window. I pulled Annabeth's chair back for her. Girls like that, right?

"Thanks." She mumbled. Her face was heating up again. I sat down a cross from her. "It's nice here. It feels so warm and cozy." Annabeth says as she looks around the shop.

"I'm glad you liked it." We exchanged smiles. The waiter came to our table and I noticed that he found Annabeth attractive. He looked about same age as me. He was smiling at her and he barely even paid attention to me.

"I'll have the dark chocolate mocha frappuccino please." She told him without even glancing at him. She was staring at me from across the table. The waiter finally turned his attention from her to me.
