Why can't I see?

"Bruce! look out!" Tony shouted tackling him out of the way as their current project exploded. Tony was thrown away from Bruce as the others came racing in. he groaned.

"Dr.Banner?" Steve ask standing over him. "are you okay?" Steve ask. Bruce nodded slightly.

"yeah. I'm good... Tony shielded me from the blast..." Bruce muttered as Steve helped him up. Tony groaned across the room. "Tony!" Bruce shouted running over. he froze a moment. who was this woman and why was she in their lab, better yet in Tony's clothing? right now that didn't matter, she was hurt and unconscious. he knelt down beside her, feeling for a pulse on her neck. when he didn't feel one, he tried on her wrist. "I'm not getting a pulse..." Bruce muttered. he lay'd his head on her chest listening closely. "but, I can hear her heart beating." Bruce added.

"who is she?" Clint ask. Bruce shrugged.

"I have no idea." Bruce replied.

"scans show, it's sir himself." Jarvis said.

"that can't be Tony." Natasha said.

"well she is wearing his clothes...." Steve said. Bruce frowned.

"one way to find out." Bruce muttered. he reached over and tapped in the center of the woman's chest awkwardly. a soft thunk. "thats the Arc reactor all right." Bruce muttered. she groaned softly.

"should we move her to the medical lab?" Steve ask, heading to pick the unconscious woman up.

"no! don't touch her! she could have a spinal injury!" Bruce said quickly. Steve stepped back. Bruce leaned over her. "Tony? Tony can you hear me?" Bruce ask. the woman groaned again.

"Bruce? what happened?" Tony muttered softly, opening his eye's. he looked around confused. "Bruce? where are you?" Tony muttered. Bruce cursed.

"I'm right beside you. can you see anything at all?" Bruce ask.

"no... just black.... whats wrong with my voice?" Tony muttered.

"I'll explain later. first, I need to get you up to the med lab and see if I can figure out why you can't see." Bruce replied. Tony nodded and let Bruce help him up. he jerked his arm away though once he was standing.

"I can find my way myself thank you." Tony huffed when Bruce tried to lead him. he turned and walked right into Steve, falling on his butt. "well, that wasn't a wall. that had to be Cap. either that or Thor." Tony muttered getting up.

"it's me Tony and maybe you should let Dr.Banner help you." Steve replied. Tony glared up in his direction, then got back to his feet.

"I can find my way myself." Tony replied.

"Tony, does your back or anything hurt?" Bruce ask curiously. Tony paused.

"no more then it should after I got thrown god knows how many feet from the explosion." Tony replied.

"good. grab him." Bruce said. that was a signal to the others to play it cool until he explained to Tony he was a girl. Steve nodded throwing Tony over his shoulder to carry him to the med bay. he'd done it a few times before when Tony was too stubborn to go himself. Tony growled.

"put me down Rogers!" Tony shouted. "I'll struggle like hell and you know I will!" Tony warned as he was carried down the hall. Tony huffed and started struggling like he always did. he yelped finding himself on his back suddenly, having managed to knee Steve in the face. Steve held his nose at the sudden blow. Tony got up, not really understanding why he'd been dropped, and headed down the hall, hoping to run into the elevator. "Jarvis, elevator." Tony ordered.
