Nothings Gonna Harm You Not While I'm Around (Klaine: Glee)

Part 9

Kurt’s POV

I jolt awake and find myself in a dark alleyway. How did I get here again? Oh yeah I came to save Blaine and those boys beat me up while Blaine was dripping to death in blood. Wait a minute…. Where is Blaine. I sit up even though it’s painful and look around to see if I can see him. Then I see him about 10 meters away covered in blood and sprawled out across the floor. I get out my phone and call an ambulance.

‘Please help!’ I say

‘What is the matter?’ A female voice says.

‘Me and my boyfriend were aggressively attacked, I’m okay just a bit bashed up but I blanked out before I knew what happened to Blaine. There’s a lot of blood, I think he’s bleeding though please just come quickly!’ I say panicking.

‘Okay we will send an ambulance right away, do you know where you are?’ she asks.

‘Sort of, a dark alleyway near the Apilbay cinema… it’s my boyfriend who knows the area.’ I say trying to breath slowly.

‘Okay I know where you are, someone should be with you as soon as possible!’ she says and hangs up the phone.

I drag my body over to Blaine even though it's painful and listen for his heartbeat… I can feel it and I feel him breathing against my ear. He is covered in cuts and blood. Oh what did they do to you Blaine? What did they do?

About 10 minutes later the ambulance arrive and they carry Blaine off in a stretcher. I don’t like the look of ambulances, ever since my mum and all. After Blaine is okay some of the stronger paramedics help me up and into the ambulance beside Blaine.

‘Is he going to be okay?’ I ask.

‘He will be fine, just needs a little patched up.’ The paramedic says. ‘But this does seem confusing, he has 2 week old breaks in his ribs which haven’t been treated, you wouldn’t know anything would you?’

‘What?’ I asked shocked. ‘How is that even possible?’

‘So you obviously know nothing.’ He asks.

‘No sorry, I wish I did though.’ I sit in silence for the rest of the ride contemplating why Blaine hasn’t told me about this and maybe that’s why he’s been acting weird. Blaine what are you keeping a secret from me. I wish I knew, I wish I knew!

When we reach the hospital, we are separated. Blaine is taken to A and E and I am taken to just a regular hospital bed. Both of us are treated fairly quickly and then all there is left to do for me is question the nurses about Blaine’s health and ask them how long it will take them to get my father in and for the rest of the time worry about Blaine. My Blaine. I love him and I wish he would tell me what’s going on.
