"EMBER!" I shout for probably the one hundredth time.

I can believe she took off.

I don't know why she took off but I'm sure she had her reasons.

I'm in the exact situation I said I didn't want to be in again. The thing that causes my anxiety.

People taking off.

I've had so many people take off. I have a lot of trust issues some could say. I just really hope she's different.

"EMBER!" I shout once again starting to loose hope.

I'm coming up to a forest. I hope she's alright. It's a quiet night. A lot of thinking.

I can't really put my earbuds in though in case I find her or something.

Me and Ashley decided to split up. It's actually kind of sad though. She seems to be Embers best friend and she doesn't even know where she might be. I guess she really doesn't open up.

Oh well. I don't either. Maybe I can get her to trust me. We'll see I guess.

I grab my elastic band and let it go.

"Ow." I say quietly.

It's stupid I know but I might not ever stop doing it.

There's a clearing over there? I smell smoke. Weird?

I head over to the clearing.

"EMBER!" I shout running over to her.

It looks like she's asleep. I check her wrists.

All clear. She doesn't seem to be over dosing so that's good I guess.

I put everything of hers in her backpack and put it on my back.

Here we go I guess.

I've never really estimated how heavy she would be.

I grab her arm and I put it around my shoulder to help her stand up.

"Mmm" She makes a sound.

I pick her legs up.

I lay Ember down on the bed she stayed on last time. I take off her jacket and put a blanket over her.

She grabs the blanket and turns over.

I sit on the bed next to her.

"Please don't take off again Ember. You scared me." I lay down next to her and put my arm around her.

I rub my eyes and check my clock. 2:47. I look at Ember and she's facing towards me, smiling.

I get up and head to my own bed.
