Cara Thompson
"She's my mate!" Cole growled, squeezing my arm.
"No she's my mate!" Nicklaus growled, grabbing my arm and dragging me back towards him. His nails dug painfully into my upper arm.
"You freaking kidnapped her!" Cole snapped, pulling me back to his chest softly.
"Hello, huh. Guys I'm right here." I remarked rolling my eyes. Both didn't seem to hear a word I had said.
"You rejected her and punched her in the face!" Nicklaus chuckled darkly, glaring at Cole's arms around my waist. I followed his guys and frowned at them.
"Okay that's enough! You both suck and neither one of you are my mate!" I screamed, pushing myself away from both of them.
"You!" I rounded and jabbed Cole in his- very muscular- chest.
"Me?" He answered, looking surprised.
"Yes you! You rejected me, your best friend for someone who was
cheating on you, and pregnant with someone else's baby!" I poked him on the chest every time I let a word out. Cole's face switched from surprised to hurt in a millisecond, and I almost felt bad for him.Nicklaus laughed from behind me and I turned around with furious eyes. He visibly gulped and took a step back.
"You, stop laughing at him. You aren't any better. You led me on and made me believe that you were worth the time of day before I caught you lip smacking another girl!" I yelled in frustration, pulling on my hair. His face turned from smug to guilty in zero point two seconds flat.
"You did what now?" Cole growled- taking an angry step forward.
I laughed sarcastically and continued with my rant.
"I'm going back to my old pack to see my friends and family. And none of you better have a word to say about it."
I had no idea where that came from, but no taking it back now. I walked past Cole and Nicklaus, sending a sad glance to my birth mother. She smiled her consent and I waved half hearted. I spotted Liam and Sydney in the crowd and ran towards them.
Liam opened his arms for me and I collapsed into his chest, taking the moment to let everything wash away.
"Lets go home." Sydney sighed sympathetically and put her arm around me. We walked to a white jeep and I laid down across the back seat while they climbed upfront. I didn't bother with a seat belt and let sleep over take me.
I hope I didn't regret this when I woke up.
°°°
I woke up with my face plastered to the seat. I had slobbered all over my brothers seat and it collected in a pool under my chin. I sighed in annoyance and yawned, picking my face up and wiping at it. My brother and his mate were nowhere in sight but it was clear we were back at the pack house. I hadn't realised how much I would miss this place until it was gone.Something was missing.
I gasped and my hand flew to my mouth, my eyes widening in horror.
I forgot my kids!
Huh, now I know how my mom felt when she left me in Wal-Mart than one time...
Focus, Bella!
I jumped out of the jeep and stormed into the house. I sprinted into the familiar kitchen.
"Liam! LIAAAM! I need to...," I trailed off at the sight in front of me.
Alex and Arya sat at the kitchen table munching of chips and sandwiches. Liam and Sydney were in the corner of the room wearing gloves and pillows taped to their chests with brooms and ski masks. The small portion of face I could see was terrified.
"What are those things!" Liam snapped, thrashing the broom around in the air wildly. Sydney was hidden behind his back and shrieking.
"My children. Kind of." I snapped, laughing and gathering the bundles of joy into my arms.
Alex turned and glared at me while Arya snarled and folded her arms.
So freaking cute.
"This things are not kids! They're monsters!" Liam howled.
I turned around and shot him glare.
"Leave these innocent kids alone you bug fat meanie!" I said, holding them as they fought.
"You big fat meanie!" They both shouted in unison and my eyes almost bugged out of my head.
A moment of silence before I started laughing uncontrollably and spitting everywhere."Innocent my arse." Liam grumbled, warily sitting down at the table as far away from the three of us as he could. Sydney snickered and removed her gear.
"So, um. Sis we need to talk." Liam said finally. I stilled at his words. Nodding at Alex and Arya, I let them go.
"Play with the pack children," I ordered them, chuckling as they sent Liam a glare while walking out.
"Cute kids. Care to explain?" Liam said. I turned to him and raised an eyebrow.
"First of all, how the heck did they get here?" I laughed.
"We found them in the trunk and they attacked us." Liam said flatly while I laughed loudly again.
"Yup, sounds about right." I chuckled, wiping fake tears under my eyes.
"It's not funny! The girl kicked me in my no-no squares!" He shrieked. That only made me laugh even harder.
"Yeah, anyways. How'd you get those enemies of humanity anyways?" Liam finally asked. I sobered up again after a few more moments of laughing.
"We're bonded. I found them in the woods as regular wolves. Poachers." I growled and proceeded to tell him the story.
"Wow," was all he had to say.
"Although, this would be an epic episode of 16 and pregnant!"
"I'm seventeen and I didn't give birth to them."
"Same thing," he said flatly.
"Whatever."
