Two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the universe or we are not.
Both are equally terrifying.

So I've finally added a Ryder P.O.V at the end ;) Hope you enjoy! <3

Rosalie (P.O.V)

My heart tightens and beats as slow as it can be. Thunder strikes and lightning screams out in agony. The fabric of my cape and clothes was not able to handle the strength of the terrifying weather. Resulting myself getting colder and colder within each strike of lightning.

I was completely oblivious of how and why I have ended up at this very place. But still, here I was, sitting on one of the bench in the training arena. You are probably thinking, why would ever in the name of god is the princess of heaven sitting in a training arena where weapons are stored to fight? Honestly I had no idea at all.

With everything going around my head I felt like I needed some alone time. Last night I may have tried to sneak out again to see Ryder last night but when I made it to the woods where I have met him before, he was not there at all. The last time I saw Ryde was the time when I told him I have fallen in love. Now I think about it more, it was too soon of me to say such words. I only have just met him, I hardly know about him and I said those words.

Here I was now, drowning myself with guilt.

The training arena is usually my comfort place. I remember the time when Alexander won six times in a row of a tournament. Of course he is the king's son, the heir to the throne and of course the undefeated champion. My father never allowed me to use weapon due to him explaining how it is improper and not fit for a princess. Little does he know that Alexander taught me some basic moves to fight. When I was little I always wanted to be a swordsman, of course that did not work out. The day Alexander realised how maybe sword fighting is not the best for me he stopped training me. But with all the things he taught me I still would train unnoticed everyday. I wanted to master it, and master it I shall.

Although, it would be better if Alexander still taught me things, he hardly has time for us anymore due to his order to be king.

*FLASHBACK*

"GO ALEX!" I yelled out to my older brother as he fought one of the opposing teams in the tournament. The other person was holding his guard up so well that he might have the chance to win this match but Alexander blocked every hit the knight did. With a final strike, Alex had his opponent down. He had won the tournament.

"That's my son!" my father called out as the rest of the family and audience cheered loudly.

"Hey brother can you teach me how to fight like you?" I asked my older teenage brother as he took off his armour.

"You want to fight?" He laughed.

"Yes" I protested.

"What's your purpose to fight?"

"Purpose?" I thought out loud in my 7 year-old voice.

"Yes purpose, why do you want to fight? What are you fighting for? That's the main thing about been a swordsman but for you, a swords woman" he smiled.

I stopped and thought for a minute. Why do I want to fight? What's the point of it? Just then I had my final answer. "I want to help people! I want to protect us all and I want to help everyone who needs to find their happiness!" I giggled, proudly.
