'I give up. That kid is gonna come back sooner or later.'

I walk into Roxi's dorm, slipping off my shoes and drifting onto the couch, the cushions cried as I threw myself against them. Maybe if the others had come to help, Taehyung would be home by now. I sigh, shoving my face into a pillow nearby and closing my eyes.

'I've been ditching too many dance lessons, my manager is gonna kill me.'

Just thinking of work made me anxious, I just loved this relaxing. And now that promotions have started, sleeping is a luxury to me. As I was drifting off to sleep there was a knock on the door. I groan and throw a punch at my pillow, this is so frustrating.

'Doesn't she have her own damn key?'

I open the door to see Hoseok, his eyes widening a bit as he saw me there. The two of us were frozen for a moment before I cleared my throat and leaned against the white door frame, like hell I'm letting him in that easy.

"What're you doing here J-hope?"I ask, seeing Hoseok sigh and click his tongue.

"Sorry hyung I just wanted to talk to Roxi."he answers, turning back toward our dorm.

"What do you need to ask her?"I question, preventing Hoseok from entering our dorm."Just tell me, I'll send the message to her."

Hoseok hesitated for a split second before shaking his head."No, I'd rather talk to her, hyung."

I nodded and thought for a moment, drawing out a way to get Hoseok to speak to me. I stepped aside and held the door open for him.

"Come inside, I'm waiting for Roxi too so you can just hang around until she gets here."I say,"I doubt she'd mind."

He slowly came inside and slipped off his shoes, taking a seat at the tall chairs next to the kitchen's island. I followed him and opened the fridge, finding my own stock of soda I had brought in a few days before. Opening the left cabinet I took out two glass cups while mapping out a plan in my mind.

'He seems to be hiding something from me. The question is whether I want to know or not.'

"You seem to really know your way around here."Hoseok chuckles, watching as I walked around the kitchen knowing where every utensil was."Do you come here often?"

"Pretty much."I answer, pouring him some soda."I come here to get away from the chaos in our dorm y'know."

Hoseok nods and just looks as his drink while I sit in front of him, eyeing his lack of movement. Usually Hoseok would be way more energetic and loud. Especially loud.

"So what did you want to tell Roxi?"I asked, making Hoseok's face turn bright red.

'He's definitely hiding something.'

"I-It's just something about work."

"If it's about work then it shouldn't be that important should it?"I scoff, shaking my head as I took a sip of my drink."Just tell me, it shouldn't be that big of a deal. Besides if you don't want me to tell anyone else just tell me and I won't. I just want to know what's up with Roxi nowadays, I just worry about her."

Hoseok blinked a few times, like he was thinking about whether or not he should tell me. At last, he sighed and mumbled a curse under his breath.

"Fine, but don't tell anyone else. This is a big deal and I don't want this going around to the others. You seem chill with Roxi and all, so I'm just telling you because I trust you hyung."he says, seeing me nod as he continued."So this may seem like a bit of a surprise to you..."

"Just tell me J-hopie, it shouldn't be that big of a deal. And if it is then I'm sure I can handle it."I say, feeling my patience slowly deplete.

"It's about Taehyungie and Roxi."he blurts, trying to stay calm on the matter by fiddling with his phone, tossing it between his hands under the island."You remember when Taehyungie and Roxi needed to go to Daegu?"

"Yes? Did something insane happen there?"

"I guess you can say that hyung. I'm guessing what caused this to happened started back when they were alone traveling to Daegu. I remember Taehyungie mentioned something to me about going to see his parents and he just left after telling me that. Roxi told me she was going to Daegu so I assumed they went together."Hoseok explained, I nodded since I would've thought the same."Anyway, Jiminie was up late and I decided to stay up with him until he fell asleep in our dorm. I heard someone from the fire escape and I went to the window to check it out...and I saw Taehyungie."

I leaned forward in my seat, the gears in my mind whirred. Now Roxi never told me about any of this, but she probably doesn't know about what Taehyung was doing either. But it was a strange thought, Taehyung was weird but not that weird.

"So I waited by the open window and heard him talking to himself."Hoseok paused before clenching his phone tightly,"He mentioned something about an arranged marriage between him and Roxi."

Now this was news. But there was doubt in my mind about this. Roxi told me her parents had died, so an arranged marriage between Taehyung and Roxi wouldn't be set in stone. It makes no sense.

"J-Hope? I don't think Taehyungie and Roxi are getting married."I say, making Hoseok immediately look up with wide eyes,"Taehyung's parents used to have money problems, so maybe it had something to do about that. And you and I both have met his family, I doubt they would make Taehyung do anything he doesn't want to now that they've seen him succeed."

Hoseok paused once more, straightening his mouth in a line, his dimples showed on his somber facade."What if he does want to marry her?"

"We'll just have to find out don't you think?"I ask, seeing Hoseok gulp down his soda and get up from his seat."Where're you going?"

"I don't think I can face Roxi anymore, I'll let you talk to her. She may be more open."Hoseok smiles and waves as he went toward the front door to slip on his shoes.

Hoseok leaves the dorm and the door across from the hallway closes, echoing through the room as I sat in my seat. Silently taking another sip.

'I don't have the energy to deal with this right now.'
