His Loyalty

Madison watched as her mate fought, for her. He had allowed her to speak, but ended it when her father continued to spout his hate her way. She was scared for him though. This was not just a fight and she knew there was going to be no way he would come out without any injuries.

Her heart began to speed up as the two males circled each other. Her mate calculating her father's moves. She was in awe at how large he was when he stood on his hind legs, claws and teeth ripping at her father's flesh.

She knew this fight was over before it even began. Jake was strong and fierce and when it came to her, he would let nothing slide.

Her body had relaxed when Jake bit deeply into the shoulder of the man that fathered her. She had to stop looking at him as her father, because he never was one.

"Holy shit look at him go. He doesn't play around, does he?" Peter looked over at her.

Madison smiled before shaking her head, "I've learned that when it comes to me, he let's nothing slide."

"That's because yo have him pussy whipped," Landon chuckled his eyes never leaving the fight. "I've been with Jake since we were kids, he's never been attached to anything. That is, until he met you."

Madison felt Peter touch her arm before speaking "I have a feeling that a painful death await any who hurts you."

"You got that right pup." Lucas spoke and she could hear the pride in his voice.

She stood near Peter, listening to him speak in awe of his new Alpha. Turning to smile at him, she caught sight of the blood now streaming from the underbelly of her mate.

A gasp left her lift as she went to step forward, only stopping when Lucas assured her he was fine. Nodding, her eyes never left the fight taking place in front of her. Another claw to his stomach had her flinching.

Madison felt as if she were kicked in the gut and she failed to keep in a cry of pain. Reaching out, she clutched onto Peter's arm as she held tightly to her stomach. Never in her life had she ever felt this type of pain.

Fire raced through her veins and she could barely make out the sound of her name being called. Heat poured from her and she just knew she was being cooked alive.

"Shit!" A voice broke out over the haze. "Give us space!"

Looking up through blurry eyes, she came face to face with Landon. She could make out his mouth moving but had no idea what he was saying. Madison watched as he turned his head in the direction of Jake, his body tensing. Whatever caused that reaction wasn't good and she need to get to her mate.

Putting everything she could into it, she shoved Landon to the side before stumbling forward. Jake was on the ground, his body thrashing back and forth. She had to help him somehow, if she didn't her life would be over.

The two male wolves were fighting to the death. If the balance tipped one way, she would have no reason to live.

Dropping to her hands and knees, she held back a cry of pain as she squeezed her eyes shut tight. The pressure forming in her gums was driving her mad and she would do anything to make it stop.

"Jake," Madison cried out as she dug her fingers into the hard dirt. She needed the comfort only her mate could give.

She could feel her gums tearing as hit tears sprang to her eyes. Lifting her head she looked up at the battling wolves. Her eyes met with those of her mate and she watched as his eyes widened in alarm before he tripled his effort.

Madison watched as his back claws raked against the soft underbelly of his opponent, his teeth simultaneously digging into his throat. Shouts we're filling the air as her senses began to clear and the pain slowly faded away.

"Slow breaths Madison, it's almost over." Lucas voice was soft as he rested his hand on her shoulder. "Just a few more moment and it will all be over."

Madison watched the painful push and pull her Alpha was dealing to the other. Jake's jaw was still clamped tightly around his neck pulling as his back feet were pushing against the underbelly of his opponent. Her father was struggling, trying his hardest to  break free of the hold Jake had on him. Madison watched fear fill his eyes as silence filled the air as everyone watched as Jake slowly ripped the old Alpha apart.

Jake's wolf rolled over, standing on all fours as Adams dropped dead onto the ground. Blood poured from the whole in his throat, coating the ground in thick blood. Her Alpha stood their proud and tall, showing everyone that he was the victor and allowing them a moment to challenge him if they wished.

A smile took over her face as she looked at her mate standing tall. Opening her mouth the tell him how proud she was of him, a scream left her lips. Her back arched and tears poured from her eyes. She could feel every bone in her body breaking.

"Shh, I'm here." Jake whispered to her. "Everything is going to be okay, Dove"

Pain filled her from head to toe as she dropped to her side. She would give anything for this feeling to go away. Glancing up she locked eyes with her mate unsure of when he shifted back and made it to her side and it was as if everything melted away.

"That's it, look at me. It's almost over."

Madison's breathing was heavy as one last pain filled tremor filled her body. Gasping she fell to the ground. Opening her eyes she braced herself for more pain but was met by nothing more than sore muscles. Looking up she watched Jake's face hold nothing but excitement.

Cheers from their pack filled the air while stunned silence came from her old one. Madison could make out both Landon and Lucas' howl of excitement.

Holding eye contact she watched as Jake smiled down at her before his eyes roamed over her body, his hand reaching out to lightly stroke her head. "Fucking beautiful."
