It's been two days since the fever incident with Chris, and he currently is at his own place, she doesn't blame him, he needs to change clothes and shower for that matter.
Jill still don't get why he refuses to shower at her place, his bullshit about not wanting to invade her space doesn't make any sense after he crashed on her bed, and every other times he crashed on her couch for that matter.
Jill can't even count how many times Chris has shown up at her place with a six pack of beer and rented movies, every time he has a woman problem he always crash at her place, and Chris being terrible with women means that happens a lot.
Jill shrugs her shoulders, Chris will always be a weirdo in her eyes but she can't help missing him, the apartment, her comfort zone suddenly feel empty.
They have been partners and inseparable for 2 years but after these few days it feels like they are even closer, guess the saying of fear brings people closer is true.

What is bugging her however is that the nightmares started when Chris shared the same bed with her.
She has a feeling that the nightmares got nothing to do with trauma, but if she would start persisting Chris would be worried and probably drag her to a hospital.
What do they mean? Last night she was waiting for the dreams to come back but they didn't, she saw something in the corner of her eye the other day too but when Chris left it stopped, no dreams, no weird stuff in the corners.
Maybe one of Chris's ex's has cursed him and his shit effects her aswell.
She sighs and her thoughts drift to the upcoming day, she's finally getting back to work, that place feels more like her home than her actual home.
Chris told her over the phone earlier that a new member has joined the Bravo team, a woman, no more like a girl she was just eighteen for God's sake.
'What was her name again... Ah right Rebecca.
I hope she's not annoying, stays out of my way and leaves Chris alone. I can hardly handle Chris's woman problems as it is, don't need a coworker crush untop of that.'

She turns the water off and places the last cup in the dishwashing machine.
Jill turns around, rests her back against the cabinet and sighs.' 'How can she not like Chris, he is great, damn her I don't want to commit a murder.'
Jill can't help chuckle at her weird mind.
"What's funny?" She jumps at Chris's sudden comment.
"Haha, are you turning out like chickenheart? You really have to get back to work."
Jill watches unamused while Chris laugh his ass off in the doorway.
"We both know that I'm the toughest of all you guys. Don't play with me Redfield and I'm coming back tomorrow remember? Also have you forgotten what knocking is?"
He stops laughing and wipes the tears in his eyes, he crosses his arms and leans onto the doorframe and smiles.
"It's great having you back you know, I'm amazed the place still stands, It's nothing without you." Jill ignores the bubbly feeling his comment creates and keeps her composure calm.
"Of course it's not the same without me, I'm the one covering all your asses."
Chris just laughs at his partners comeback.
He walks over to Jill and stops in front of her, he reach for the cabinet behind her and opens it and takes out a cup.
Chris stops his movement and stands still for a few seconds, the sudden mood change causes her to look up at him confused.
He suddenly closes the cabinet and walks over to the coffee machine.
She looks over at Chris holding his cup in his left hand and the bringer in the right, staring out the kitchen window.
Jill breaks his daze by putting a gentle hand on his shoulder.
His gaze falls upon her but suddenly his body turns towards her grabs a firm grip of her arms and push her across the room until Jill is trapped between the wall and him, his demeniour like a wild animal.
His body pushes itself between her legs eager to be closer to her warm body.

Jill had no time to proccess what is happening until she feels Chris's body pressing itself closer to her.
When she thinks about it Chris haven't had anyone in a long time same as her, whatever, her mind goes blank.
She puts her arms around his neck and jumps up placing her legs around his torso, Chris responds with pushing her harder against the wall.
His left hand rests on her butt both holding her up and taking the opportunity to grope it.
His right hand tugs at her hair so her neck is exposed for his eager mouth to explore.
What are they doing? She don't even know but she can't hold back the moan when he kisses her collarbone.
Suddenly Chris let's go of her entirely and flies back across the room until he hits the fridge, he gasps for air and looks flushed.
Good thing Jill has super human reflexes or she would have landed on her butt, she looks at him completely confused.
So many emotions and questions pass through her body and mind, it's almost painful, lust, rejection, disappointment, horny as hell. Why did he stop? Why did he start? Why did he reject her? He doesn't want her? All questions makes her dizzy.
She looks up at him trying to find any answers.
His eyes are fixated at the chair in front of him, he's clearly avoiding looking at her, his expression is blank but he is definitely having a mental battle.
He suddenly moves towards the hallway with heavy and stern steps.
The door to her apartment opens and shuts lightly.
She just stands there in shock. 'What the hell just happened?'
