Chris and Jill walks through a hallway and the silence is starting to bug her, so in desperate times comes desperate matters.
"You know, when you think about it, these things remind me of those crappy horror movies you force me to watch."
Chris looks at Jill and notice her attempt at lighten the mood.
"Oh yeah? Well how about your crappy movies about feelings, I mean come on I thought you'd like sci fi or action at least, but no the famous Jill Valentine force me to watch chick flicks, ugh I lose some respect for each movie."
Chris sticks his tongue out at her, knowing his childish act will give him a nice reaction.

Jill responds with rolling her eyes at him and opens a door with a sigh.
"Well I feel sorry for you for not appreciating the classics, I mean come on.." Jill is interrupted when something or more like someone collapse into her.
"RICHARD!"
Jill grabs a hold of Richard as his knees gives away, Chris is quick to help his partner lay Richard down on the floor.
"Jill is that you.. and Chris?"
Richard's hand tries to find Jill's shoulder but misses and falls towards the floor but she grabs a firm grip of it preventing its fall.

"Richard I can't believe you're alive, we found Kenneth's body, I'm so glad to see you!" Happiness fills her knowing that someone else is alive in this place, she doesn't pay attention to all the blood covering Richard, however Chris does.
"What happend to you, why are you covered in blood?"
Chris's words brings Jill to look at him and then back at their comrade, worry now replace the happiness.
Richard let's out grunts while trying to steady his breaths and find his voice to speak.
"This whole place is a killing zone, there are monsters..." Richard coughs from forcing himself to talk.
"What did this to you? You're badly wounded..."
Jill can't help losing her famous composure, she fears what answer she'll receive.

"A huge snake and.. I.. It must have been venomous.."
Richard starts coughing and struggling to breath, Jill and Chris lock eyes, they have to do something.
"We found a medical room earlier there has to be serum there, I mean if they have snakes here they must have serums right?"
It sounds like she's trying to convince herself instead of the others.

"Jill you stay here with Richard, I will go back to the medical room and look for it."
She shakes her head, and gives Chris an intensive stare.
"Absolutely not! I won't have you running around alone in this place! We can bring Richard there and..."
Chris interupts her.
"Bringing Richard there will take too long, we can't both go and leave him here alone he can't defend himself in this state."
At that Chris stands up and moves towards the door.
"Chris... please be careful.."
He turns around and gives her a reassuring smile.
"It's me have some faith will you?"
He turns and exit the room.

Five minutes pass and Jill is starting to panic, if Chris get's hurt how will she know?
How long does Richard have, should she go look herself if it takes too long?
Should she start moving Richard and catch up with Chris or was it to dangerous? She looks down at her watch as it hits six minutes.

*meanwhile*

Chris catches his breath after running to the medical room, he had almost fallen down the stairs but caught his balance in time.
He turns the doorknob but finds the door locked, which is very odd as Jill and him had already passed through here, those things can't lock doors can they?
Chris gently knocks on the door and listens carefully, no response. What should he do now? Kick the door in?

"Hello? Is anyone in there? Can you please open the door?"
Chris sighs who was he kidding, there's no living left here.
"Chris is that you?"
Hearing his name from a recognisable voice his hopes goes to the skies, the door unlocks and opens revealing a very frightened looking female.
"Rebecca! You're alive!"

Chris suddenly find himself in a hug, he places his hand on top of her head patting it lightly, hearing her sobs he realize not everyone is like Jill, despite of what kept coming at them Jill stayed composed.
Not knowing what to say he clears his throat which makes Rebecca release him.
"I'm sorry Chris, I just, I witnessed some horrible things I am so happy to see a familiar face." Chris smiles at her.
"My words exactly, as much as I want to catch up I am in dire need of finding serum."

Rebecca wipes her tears and looks worried at Chris. "Are you hurt? What happened?" Rebecca's voice is filled with panic.
"It's not me Richard was bit by a snake, Jill is with him but he needs serum and time is closing in."
Rebecca grabs his arm suddenly.
"Wait, Richard is alive!? I saw the snake attack and drag him away! I can't believe he survived... I have what he'll need please hurry take me to him!"
Not wasting any time Chris grabs Rebecca's arm and pulls her with him, Richard isn't dying today at least not on his watch!

"Jill..." Richard calling out her name brings her back from her daze, it's been twelve minutes and she started counting the seconds to distract herself from running to Chris.
She places her hand on Richards shoulder and tries smiling reassuringly.
"I'm here, what can I do for you?" Richard moves his arm towards his radio and removes it from his belt, and holds it up.
"Here, you should have the radio, I'm not sure if I'm gonna make it, and if I don't, I want to make sure you can."
He grunts and his hand shakes so she grabs the radio and has a sad look on her face.
"Richard you'll make it, I know you will, Chris will get here."
He looks at her with a face she can't determine.
"You know, even though I was in the Bravo Team, you and Chris always treated everyone like your equal, I admire that."

The door suddenly flies open and to their surprise Chris and Rebecca runs to them out of breath, Jill moves out of the way as Rebecca takes her place and start preparing to inject the serum.
Jill moves close to Chris and gives a smile speaking more than a thousand words, stunned he pats her shoulder not finding any words.

"I'm happy to see you are alive Rebecca, will he make it? I don't know how long ago he was bitten."
Rebecca looks up at Jill and Chris.
"He's stable for now, he is unconscious though, I will watch over him and make sure he'll make it, he saved my life.. you two should move on I will lock ourselves in here."
Chris and Jill passes a look to each other.
"Rebecca are you sure?"
She looks at them determined. "Of course I can defend myself and as soon as Richard is awake, we will move towards the medical room."
They nod at each other knowing they have to move forward to get out of this place, they spend a last glance before leaving the two Bravo members behind.
