Outgrowing friends is so weird to me.

Because one minute you're the closest of friends, and the next they're gone, and it's just.. awkward.

And deep down you wished things didn't change but it's like you can't help it.

People grow. Interests change. And everything is just different.

I'm not saying all friendships are like that, but a vast majority of them are.

It took me a while to realize it's okay. It's nobody's fault that you grew up & your views on life aren't the same.

Outgrowing people is okay, and it's a part of living.
