Shizume Nora is a girl quite talented in sports, who always practices her abilities on the sports she loves the most: Basketball, Volleyball and Tennis.
What she doesn't know is the path her destiny has prepered for her
That day it started, my love for sports, not only Basketball, but volleyball also.
I couldn't handle it anymore, in my school girls only could take Volleyball as sport, so I take it, I thought it would be better to take that sport than just cheer on the boys.
Every single part of myself was expecting how would it be 'cause I have never played it, how could I do in that sport? That question repeated in my mind over and over again, "I won't get an answer until I try".
As I said this I went inside the GYM and step on the court. "Shizume-chan!!" I turn around to see who is calling my name.
"Oh hi Kurobane-chan"
As we start talking the teacher comes in and the both of us stop talking.
"You are here because you think you are good enough to be more than a cheerleader, I think that just by that you are right, if you are here just to see Yuuta please go".
"Who is yuuta?" I mumble, I have never heard of him. But as I lift my face I see the girls by my sides shocked.
"How do you don't know who is Yuuta-sampai?!! Do you really attend to this school???!!!!!!!"
"Well yes, I do attend here but I don't really care of the boys, they are too troublesome"
"The ones of our classroom? Of course they are, they are just kids!!! But Yuuta-sempai is different, how can you say he is the same as them?!!"

"Sorry I didn't mean to offend you, it's just that I don't know him"
"Girls!! You can discuss it later, for now start stretching to move on with the training"
We start the warm up, and we start practicing the serves, the normal serve is quite easy so I have no problem with it but when we started practicing the jump serve I have some problems.
"Aaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!" All the girls started to scream, I didn't know why but I didn't bother to ask, I knew that someone would tell me sooner or later.
"See Shizume-chan? He is Yuuta-sempai"
Now I knew what they were screaming for. Sincerely I thought it is a waste of time to stop practicing just for a boy, I was too focused on my grades so that I could go to the school I wanted once I had the age I needed.
As I was about to resume my practice I heard girls murmuring. 'Now what?' as I turned around to see what was happening I saw all the girls looking at me, also that guy, Yuuta-sempai, why are they looking at me?
"Why are you looking at me?" as I ask this I notice Kurobane-chan walking to me "Yuuta-sempai just asked you a question", now I am quite impressed, why did he asked me something? I turn to Yuuta-sempai and I say as polite as I can "Sorry, I wasn't listening, what did you were asking me?"
"I was asking if you wanted me to show you how a jump serve is" I got angry at this I knew I wasn't good at it but I didn't like people underestimating me, however I can't be impolite to an upperclassmen so I talked as calmed as posible "I wouldn't like to be a bother to you sempai, so if you excuse me" as I said that I walked away.
I continue practicing my serves but it wasn't working at all, so took my bottle of water and took a sip. "you are sure you don't want me to show you?" I was shocked, Yuuta-sempai's voice was too close to me and because of that I didn't turned around, afraid that he could be more close than normal "As I said earlier I don't want to bother you"
I walk away and as I am about to walk away someone calls me "Shizume-chan!" I turn around to see who is calling my name "Oh, Taiga-kun, I was going to go, you comin'? " "Yeah just give a sec., oh and we could play on our way home" "Sure, it's been a while since I've played" And that's the moment I hear Yuuta-sempai again "Do you mind if I join?" I look to Taiga before answer "Well... actually-" "We don't mind" Said Taiga interrupting me.

I take out my bottle of water and start warming up to play "Hey Taiga have you gotten any better?" I ask with a smirk "Hey, stop it!" "Or what?" I said with a threatening smile

"Hey guys I am tired" says Taiga sweating a lot "What?! Already?!" I ask surprise "Nora you are really good at basketball don't underestimate yourself" He said trying to catch his breath.
Yuuta Pov.
'She is impressive. I knew it since I saw her but now I'm sure, I want to know her'
"Hey!, are you tired too?" She asks me "No, umm...Shizune-chan, I was wondering when did you learned to play basketball?" I was ashamed I didn't actually knew how to play basketball. "well my father taught me when I was 5" How is it possible? "How old are you?" "Next month I will be 9"
'How is it possible?!! She plays like a professional, also she is quite tall to have 8 years, she is by far one of the tallest girls I've seen even if I'm older.
"What? Do you want me to teach you how to play?" She asks, it seems polite the question but I can see behind this politeness, she is mocking me for asking to teach her how to serve, I am embarrassed, is it that obvious that I don't know how to play
I take all the will in me to answer that question "Yes" "What? I kinda didn't get that" she said making fun of me "I said yes" "Well, is the great Yuuta-sempai asking me to help him?" I am ashamed by the way she said it "Why don't we make a deal? If you teach me how to play basketball, I'll teach you how to serve accurately" I see it in her eyes she is thinking about it.
"Well I guess I've got nothing to lose"
Taiga Pov.
'That boy is interested in Nora-chan, why?'

I am proud of the things that I've accomplished even though they were with the help of Yuuta-sempai

Hey guys, it's been a long time since I updated but I will for sure finish this story even if my updates are not regulars.
I will try to update more now that I am on holidays but I can't promise anything, please continue reading and tell me if you want me to add something, also maybe one thing or two will be out of place in some chapters, but don't worry I have already planned this story so I know why I write them.
