4. Manager

POV Nora

I was walking through the stands still wondering what to do when a pink-headed girl approaches me, she touches my shoulder lightly and speaks.

'Ne, ne!! Let's join the basketball club together' she yelled 'Eh? Who are you?' I kind of yelled at her too, 'Eh?, I'm so sorry, I mistook you for a friend of mine!' she said while letting go and bowing deeply, Ijust sighrdd silently and shook my head. 'No problem, but what were you saying about basketball?' I asked. She smiled a bit 'Well a friend of mine is going to join the club, I'm no good at any other, so I tought I could go and apply as manager, but I didn't want to be the only girl so I came looking for my friend and I grabbed you' She explained, with that I nodded 'Well I guess if you want to be there with another girl I gess I coul apply too' I answered shyly 'Would you?!!' She exclaimed enthusiasticaly, I just nodded my head.

With my confirmation she grabbed my hand and pulled me to the fist gym.

Momoi Satsuki, the pink haired girl, and I started the try outs, I could see all of them where trying hard, still, some had potential others didn't and others had already reacher their limit, I could see it, I just wrote everything and said nothing, not to the guys, nor Momoi, nor the coach, it was to be done  later, once everyone had left, I shouldn't affect their game.

I could see many interesting boys, they had different color of hair as most had brown or black hair, however these guys had red, blue, green and purple hair. I also recognized Kuroko, who I could see talent in, but it wasn't developed yet.

After practice ended I approached the coach giving him my notes, I could of went home but I knew he would like to ask some questions about what I wrote.

After coach read the notes I gave, he looked at me confused 'You can give all this information just by looking them train for a couple of hours?' he asked, I just nodded and smiled a bit, he looked suspiciously at me, my smile grew a bit more and I decided to explain, 'Coach, there's always a limit to the human body, that limit grows as we strengthen our muscles, we can't start by lifting 15 kg if we can bearly lift 5, that's just how it works, taking that in account we can expect some things from some players, still it doesn't mean that those with the strongest built will have the farthest limit, we just need to read the bodies we are working with' I gave a slight smile at the end, the coach nodded, even though I could tell he didn't understand what I just told him, I didn't make the effort of explaining farther. 'Just... Trust me' I said while leaving the gym.

<<<<Time Skip to a semester later>>>>

Momoi and I have been Managers for a while now, and I can tell the coach and team trust us fully, whether it's a sprain, or just a question they come to ask us, Momoi has become closer to me as well as the GOM, and the captain seems to be thinking about giving his spot to Seijuro, I can tell that will bring benefits but at a great cost.

After practice, before I could go home Daiki asked us to stay so that he could tell us something.

'The other day I heard sounds in the second gym after we finished practicing, but no one was there when I opened the door, I thought I was really tiered and ignored it, but since then I've been hearing the same sound.' he said, I didn't belive there was a ghost so to try and calm him down I decided to answer.' Then we just go to the second gym today, I can't have you distracted during training '

With that the 5 of them followed me to the second gym, once I opened the door we could hear the bouncing of a ball, Daiki and Satsuki let out a small scream, while the rest of us just looked at them unamused.

I looked to where the ball was bouncing and saw a baby blue haired boy, who I recognized imidiatly. 'Hey Tetsuya' I waved lightly to said boy, he waved back and nodded 'Hey Nora, what are you doing here?'

I looked at Daiki and motioned towards him. 'I came cause he thought there was a ghost in here, I guess he just didn't saw you' I answered, then in a lower tone I added 'though it still doesn't make sense that people can't see you, you're pretty noticeable for me' I could see Tetsuya smile softly 'That's only you Nora' he answered, I just shook my head in amusement.

I looked behind me to see the guys left dumbfounded 'There is your ghost Daiki, is a boy called Kuroko Tetsuya, he is in my class, he also is part of the basketball team'.

The team was left speechless and I just went home as this "ghost" problem was solved. Next week are the final exams so all clubs are canceled, and once the winter holidays start I'll be able to go see Ryo.
