7. New ... friend?

All this week I was extremely happy, Ryo and I played all the time, we just enjoyed ourselves, of course, when Tetsu left I moved to Ryo's bedroom, as we always do when I come over. Soon Nanjiroo interrupted our games so he could play also, changing between me and Ryo. I put more effort into my matches with him as I knew I wouldn't win, still, I didn't play my best, it would look suspicious to Ryo if I could play better with his father than with him.

Today my father's going to take Tetsu, Ryo and I to the campsite, soon enough just after waking up, at 4.30 a.m, no hour to wake if you ask me, we heard a knock on the door, Rinko, being the kind woman she has opened the door letting in Tetsu, who looked just as sleepy as Ryo and I, I was actually impressed when Ryo woke up, I was expecting him to sleep till the last minute.

The three of us sat at the table to have breakfast, which Rinko made in an American style, just some waffles, bacon, and egg with juice.

Soon enough we heard the door and the three of us took our things to head to the campsite, we said our goodbyes and approached my father

"Hi, Dad," I said, a bit sleepy he smiled "Hi sweetheart" he answered as he took my wallets and put them in the trunk along with the ones of the guys when it was time to ride the car dad wasn't sure to let me go behind with the boys, but after a puppy ayes and a pouty face he agreed and the three of us slept soundly, me between the two boys, smiling contently as they shared their warmth with me.

Once we were all installed in the cabin my father gave each of us a key and left money with me, he also gave me three tickets for the Volleyball Winter cup in Miyagi, which was tomorrow and I decided we would go. After that my dad left and we went into the cabin to finish organizing everything.

After we organized all our stuff, Ryo wanted to go find a tennis court, and since Tetsu wanted to see me play again we decided to go to the center to look for one, after arriving at the center, which wasn't so far from the cabin we looked for the court, but it seemed as there were none, soon enough, we reached a middle school, we could see various students heading out, which was quite unexpected as we were on holidays, with that said I approached an angry-looking one, he had blue-black hair that same color as his eyes and kind of a murderous glare, still I decided we needed help.

"Excuse me?" As soon as I spoke he directed his glare to me, "Yes?" he asked with a rough tone, however, I could tell he didn't mean it, so I smiled and answered "My friends and I are new in here, could you tell me if there are any tennis courts around here?"  he looked confused but shook his head "Nearby there are none, you could play in the school you attend to, but apart from schools there aren't any courts"

I pouted a little "It's just that we aren't from here, do you think your school would let us play a match??" he sighed but nodded "I don't know, but you can always ask the headmaster, I can lead you there" the boy answered and I could tell he was a good person, maybe most people thought otherwise because of the scowl he had, but I could tell better.

He leads us to the office and we asked to use their court but we needed a student to be with us, I quickly turned to look at him. 'Please, stay with us' I pleaded, he seemed to get mad but before he could deny I took his hand and continued 'Pretty please' I said with a pout 'We'll help you practice' he looked confused at my last statement, but nodded nonetheless which I beamed to 'Thank you so so much' I said as I shook his hands enthusiastically.
