The Untold Paradox

Chapter 16

Nana and Chul Woo walk out of the school after 3 hours looking for the guy who is on the photo. It has been 3 weeks that they have been looking for the mystery guy and so far they were unable to find him. Chul Woo look at Nana who was in a daze.

"Are you alright?" said Chul Woo.

"Yes.. I am fine."

"But you don't look like one."

"I fine don't have to worry." said Nana again. It's going to be the 4th months and if they don't find him anytime soon, someone going to get hurt if that person still in the school. While Nana was walking, she did not see a bicycle was coming towards her. Chul Woo quickly pull her away before the cyclist hit her. Nana freeze has everything when suddenly when she zone out. Chul Woo look at Nana and check if she is hurt anywhere on her body.

"Are you alright?" said Chul Woo. Nana look up at him and quickly step back.

"I'm sorry and thank you." said Nana.

"Are you alright?"

"Yes."

"You should rest well alright. I'll send you back.'

"No it's alright."

"No...I am sending you back not when you are this tired." said Chul Woo insist that he want to send her back. Nana nod her head and allow him to send her home.

As they continue to walk Nana saw someone back who look like the one that they were following. Nana look at him carefully and says,

"That guy he look like that person in the photo!" while pointing her finger to a guy who was on the opposite side and was walking to the corner. Chul Woo look at the person she was pointing to someone. He too saw that he had the same back as the person they were looking for.

"Let's go!" said Nana while crossing the road and follow the man. Chul Woo follow her too. They follow him to the next neighborhood. He was walking straight and was not going any where. They follow him a few meter away from him as they did not want him to know they are following him.

The man suddenly turn around but luckily Chul Woo pull Nana into a store and make him could not see them. Nana stood very close to him that he could smell her perfume. He look down at her and stare at her. His could not feel his heart beating or hear anything else. He felt time had stop for him for a while. He like the feeling, it calm and warm. Nana saw that the man was on the move, she continue to walk an follow him. Chul Woo quickly came back to reality and follow Nana. After a few more store the man stop at her track. Chul Woo and Nana stop too and wait for his reaction. The moment he wanted to turn around, Nana quickly grab Chul Woo hand, entangle their hand together and says,

"Baby I hungry let's go somewhere to eat?"

"Oh...ok where do you want to eat baby?" said Chul Woo while he pinch her cheek. The man turn back around and walk away when he saw that it was some couple. After he had walk away a few meter away from them, Nana look at the man and look where he was going. Nana pull her hand away and follow him. Chul Woo look at her and saw that she was so into catching the guy
"Yea wait up!!!" said Chul Woo to Nana. They follow him till the bus stop which he took the bus which had just arrive. Nana and Chul Woo went after the bus but it was too late the bus already left the bus stop.

"Not again!!!" said Nana. Chul Woo stop running and went to her.

"We try again tomorrow." said Chul Woo. Nana was not happy that yet again he was not able to catch him but luckily she manage to get a glace of him, so the next time she know who was it.

Woo Bin look out from his car window and saw the shop house that Na Young use to stay.

"Mr Tae this is the shop house that she stay with her daughter." said his driver. Mr Tae nod his head and went out from the car. He walk over and look at the place.

"This is where she life. I thought I would never see you again but I was wrong." said Woo Bin to himself. It has been 18 years that he had not seen her. Right after his wife found out that he had an affair with Na Young the woman he met by chance, a chance that change his life and heart 360 degrees. His wife beat her, she did not know that he was marry man and when she found out she immediately walk out from his life but never once did he stop loving her. But now is his chance to make a mend of his mistake.

He breathe out and knock on the door a few time. He waited for less then 5 minutes before someone open the door. When the door open he was shock to see the girl who bump him in school.

"Yes how can I help you?" said Nana.

"Woo Bin what are you doing here?" said Seol who saw Woo Bin at the door. She walk closer to Nana.

"Seol hi.... I want to see Na Young. Is she in?" he said while looking inside to see if Na Young was inside. Seol and Nana look at each other.

"Um..Woo Bin she passed away 1 year ago." said Seol gently breaking the news to Woo Bin. Woo Bin look at them did not believe that she had already passed.

"Seol...please don't lie. I know that you must have hated me for what I did to her but now I want to see her. Please allow me to see her." said Woo Bin who did not want to believe that she had passed.

"I hate you alot but I don't lie. This is Nana she is her daughter." said Seol while introducing Woo Bin to the only person Na Young had.

"My name is Nana Yang Nana. I'm not sure who you are to my mother but I'm sorry she had passed away. I'm really sorry." said Nana. Woo Bin knee became very weak, and fall down to the floor.

"No...it can't be....she can't be gone." said Woo Bin crying his eyes out. Seol and Nana went to him and help him up.

"Come on let's go in." said Seol while they bring him into the shop house.

Woo Bin look down on the floor, his tear could not stop flowing out from his eyes.

"Why...why when I'm now alone, that I'm now ready to have her why did she leave me why?" he said to himself. He could not stop blaming himself for not looking for her, not checking her up and not even look for her secretly. He clenches his fist tightly and bang it on the hard floor. The pain that he felt is not as painful as his heart. Seol and Nana walk to him with a mug of coffee. They sat opposite him on the floor.

"Tell me what happen to her? Was she sick? Was she in a lot of pain?" question Woo Bin.

"She was a hit and run victim. She passes away on the spot. I am sorry." said Seol.

"Did the police catch the culprit?"

"No not yet. The case is still on going." said Seol. Nana sat beside Seol looking at Woo Bin who was crying his heart out for his mother. She felt touch, she could see that some part of her mother life she did have someone to love her. Woo Bin calm himself down and look at Nana.

"How old are you Nana?" said Woo Bin.

"I'm 18."

"You study in Myung Min High School correct?" said Woo Bin. Nana nod her head.

"I and you mother use to date long. I am so sorry that I was not there to be with you or your mother." said Woo Bin who suddenly cry again. He could not stop himself from crying. Nana and Seol could not look at him and try to calm him down but they understand his feeling. They too were like that back then. They were unable to control themselves or believe that Na Young had gone.

"I promise that I'll find him. I'll find the killer and make sure he'll pay for what he did." said Woo Bin he wanted to know who kill her and once he know he will make sure he pay for the life he took for his reckless driving.
