Tan Soo Mi

I walked down a few streets to collect my stuff from my Aunt's. Humming along quietly to the music blasting in my headphones.

She wasn't really my aunt, my parents had died a few years ago, and I had no family left so she adopted me, beforehand she was a family friend though.

I knocked on the door gently, pulling out my headphones. I waited a while, no answer.

It was Tuesday, and she never went out on a Tuesday. So she should have been in-

"Oh that's probably the pizza I ordered earlier." I heard her voice and my heart raced. She had kicked me out on the streets- she didn't-

My eyes widened when I saw her bruised eye and her swollen lip.

"Run..." she mouthed. Tears welling up in her eyes.

"What's going on? Shall I call the-" she shook her head and started pushing me down the path.

"Run!" She hissed quietly. "Before they see you-"

"You're taking too long to answer the door." A deep voice growled and blood sprayed on me, my aunt falling on top of me and into my arms.

I let out a shocked gasp, her body limp and blood flowing freely from the head wound. My ears rang.

"Ah, she was protecting you all this time." The voice spoke again. "Get her boys."

With his command several men spilled out the door, my heart was racing at this and I didn't know what to do-

"One step closer to her and we won't hesitate to shoot your head right off your shoulders." Voices that sounded familiar spoke. The men who were on command froze in there tracks.

"You're safe now, okay?" A soft voice spoke rubbing my back. I turned slowly and saw the tattoo of GOT7. I gulped, which was most probably visible, and he offered me a small smile. Which looked more awkward than friendly, and he offered his hand. "Take my hand, trust me okay?"

"We're not scared of some boys, I said get her!" The same man who shot my aunt ordered and the men ran forward again. I closed my eyes and took his hand, flinching once I heard gunshots as he ran, pulling me down the street into a small alleyway.

That's when the reality set in. The woman I viewed as a parent was now dead, shot and bled against me-

"You need to take deep breaths okay?" His voice broke me from my thoughts, and then instead of focusing on the grim reality, I felt the tightness of my chest and the spinning world around me. "Hey, don't space out on me. I'm being serious. Deep breaths like me!" His voice was a bit harsher which drew my attention to it. He then visibly took deep breaths and reached for my hands.

I slowly focused on his actions, letting his hands slip into mine and closed my eyes. The tightness soon ceased and the lightheaded-ness disappeared.

"That's it..." he hummed quietly. "You're going to be okay..."

I opened my eyes seeing him really close compared to a few minutes ago. He offered me another awkward smile.

"Here take my shirt." He took his shirt off, and offered it to me. He sat there expectantly for a moment, meeting my eyes. "O-Oh." He turned the other way, an awkward chuckle leaving his lips. I pulled my shirt over my head and swapped it for his one.

When I smoothed it out I tapped him on the shoulder. He turned to me again, a light blush covering his cheeks.

"The name is Jinyoung." His voice was quiet, a lot less harsh than earlier.

"Tan Soo Mi..." I whispered.
