Emily's P.O.V.
Why am I here? Why am I a mess? Just...Why?
I was at school and when I was told by my boyfriend that he was leaving me for Kelsey. She was one of the popular girls. You know has all the boy's following her, all the friends, you know the usual popular girl thing. So after 5 years of being together he leaves me for her. So I ran to the bathroom to cry but when I got there all her friends were there.
"OH, would you look at that! How sad! Did your boyfriend leave you for my best friend? But Hey you can have her ex Ashton....Wait nope never mind you can't. He's mine." I looked at Kelly as if she just killed my dog.
"Hey it's O.K. Em. You know you can always die alone!" And that was coming from Autumn so it hurt so much more. She was my best friend in 5th and 6th grade. We did everything together. But when Kelsey and Kelly came here, to L.A., they made her drop me so she can be popular. So now I'm just standing there staring at them. I was standing there for a good 2 hours and when they left I didn't even realise that they left. As I snap out of my trance I run to a stall, lock the door,grabbed my pocket knife my dad gave me for protection against weirdos, and rolled my sleeves up and started cutting. By the time I was done you couldn't see my arms, only cuts. Then out of nowhere my friend Marisa is calling my name, and looks under my stall and comes in. I quickly hide my arms and my knife. She comes over and hugs me.She was squeezing me so hard that I could feel the pain in my arms. It hurts so much but I don't tell her it hurts. " hey are you feeling O.K.? I told Mr. Half that you were not feeling well and you were in the bathroom....but...then Lexa....opened her big mouth......." she trailed off so I asked her with much emphasis
" AND WHAT? WHAT DID SHE DO?!?!"
She pretty much just..um..she..I don't know how to put it...she...." She yet again trailed off but she had a good reason to do so this time because right when she was about to say what she wanted Lexa came in with her friend Lilly. "So after Marisa said she was in the bathroom 'sick' I told Mr. Half that was a lie and she was in the bathroom because her steady boyfriend dumped her and now after wanting to be with Sebastian she was with him doing it!"
Marisa and I jumped up on the toilet so we wouldn't be seen by Lexa and lilly. We don't like each other that much because of what happened a few months ago.
"Hey Emily, you and Sebastian can come out now! We won't tell Harmony Sebastian. But only if we know,get paid, if you know what we mean!" I moved my foot just slightly so I wouldn't fall in the toilet and my foot set off the flusher. While the loud noise went off Marisa and I stared at each other and the same thing was going through our minds.
What are we going to do?
