"This will look great on you." Kassie assured me, handing me one of her super cute PacSun crop tops to try on.

"You think so?" I asked, holding the shirt up to my chest, seeing my belly button when I did since it didn't cover too much. I guess that's why it is called a crop top. I'm not exactly a crop top person; people in Massachusetts don't exactly wear stuff like that, but since it's always pretty warm here, it's more of a common thing.

Kassie nodded eagerly, handing me a pair of plain high waisted denim shorts to go along with the black top, "Try them on, I bet you'll love the way it looks."

So, I did. I slipped on Kassie's shorts and crop top and looked into her full length mirror hanging on the back of the door. Kassie and I luckily just so happen to have the same size clothing, which was pretty helpful since we never stopped at my house in between the beach and the party that night.

I had to ask Kassie the question that was burning a hole inside my brain, "So, is Jack, like, your boyfriend?"

Kassie laughed very loudly, which pretty much answered my question right then and there, "Jack is my brother."

My heart did a flip. Why? Was I already crushing on this guy who I barely know?

"What do you think of him?"

"What do I think of him?" I asked back, pretty unsure of what exactly she meant by this question.

Kassie smiled devilishly, "Yeah, like do you think he's cute?"

I nodded, I wasn't about to lie, I do think Jack is attractive, "Yeah, he's cute."

Kassie ooh-ed and smiled big, "I could set you up."

"Oh, god," I said with a laugh, "Let me at least get to know the kid!"

"Well, tonight is a good excuse to do it."

The music was bumping and my toes hit the cold sand. The night sky was dark, aside from the flashing colored lights that lit up random faces of the teens dancing on the beach. Just this afternoon, this beach was nearly empty and a quiet, peaceful place to soak up the sun. Now, it's a crowded, loud party with a bunch of my future classmates.

I smiled at Kassie while I danced like an idiot, honestly not caring what I looked like since I was having fun, plus it was mostly dark anyway.

"Do you want a drink?" Kassie yelled to me over the music.

I nodded, grabbing her hand so we would not get lost and searching for the bucket full of ice and soda cans. I pushed my hand in, passing a few beers and grabbing myself a Pepsi, plus a Dr. Pepper for Kassie.

"How are you and Jack?" she asked me, yelling over the music again.

"Damn it, Kassie," I scolded, "You should keep your voice down!"

"You know, that's a little hard with this brain rattling music." she complained.

I shook my head, taking a sip of my soda then telling her, "If there is any updates, don't worry, I'll update you."

She smiled and nodded approvingly, then threw away her half-drank soda, trotting back to the "dance floor," which was really just an area of the sand where everyone was huddled close.

I followed close behind, leaving my drink on a small table where I could find it later. The first person I saw was Jack, who I barely hesitated to get close to and start dancing with. I have to admit, Jack really is hot. His hair is all done tonight and he dresses like a Cali boy, which I love, and he actually has a nice body from what I remember from earlier today at the beach and what I can feel through his shirt while I'm dancing on him.

He smiled at me with a hint of sexual frustration in his eyes, "I didn't know you could dance."

I smiled back, turning around and grinding my ass into him hard, commenting right into his ear, "I guess you know now."
