Kian

Sam and the guys, to the tune of my protest, invited hundreds of people to our out-of-the-blue bash, and surprisingly, nearly everyone showed. Have a party and those LA kids will come, no doubt about that. Upon inviting everyone, they all were to promise that no news that this party ever happened was to hit social media; the guys and I don't want to have to deal with any fan drama associated with the tweets and Instagram pictures about tonight. Everyone agreed to keep it quiet, so I hope.

"You having fun?" Ricky approached me and asked, handing me a soda can and smiling hopefully.

I nodded, "Yeah, I guess."

He patted my shoulder, "Lots of cute girls here."

I glanced around, seeing a lot of familiar faces but also a lot of unfamiliar ones. I could get to know some new people tonight, I love doing that.

"Have fun, dude," he said, brushing past me and towards the living room where we had cleared some furniture out of the way to create a sort of dance floor, "Meet someone new."

I turned around, my eyes following Ricky as he grabbed hands with Shelby and slid gracefully into a cloud of people. I popped open the soda can with one finger, paying a lot of attention to my hands for some reason, I guess they just were distracting me from my nerves.

"Kian!" A female voice called from behind me.

I shot up my head, swiveled around and smiled when I saw Jenn in front of me, "Hey!"

"How's it going?" she asked me, speaking loudly over the Hoodie Allen song bumping through the house.

I nodded and smiled, "Good! I haven't seen you in forever!" Jenn looked good; her long, blonde hair flowed gracefully over her two shoulders, which were bare since she was only wearing a tank top with a halter bikini sticking out of the scoop neck.

"Too long!" she agreed.

"Who invited you tonight?" I asked nervously, not exactly knowing what else to say, "I mean, I'm glad they did."

Jenn giggled and looked down, probably laughing at my awkwardness, "Connor did, actually. I decided it has been far too long since I've came to the o2l house, plus I brought the girls."

"The girls?" I questioned.

She nodded, pointing a finger to the dance floor. My face immediately dropped when I saw Andrea and Lauren, dancing up against two guys, not holding back too much. They probably had a few drinks in them. I recognized Hunter, too, dancing with Andrea. Well, I guess that makes sense, she is dating him now.

"Do you want to dance?" I shot at Jenn, grabbing her hand gently.

She smiled and nodded, so I pulled her arm gently into the living room, dropping my Coke can into a trash bag as I walked by one. I never specifically took a liking to Jenn before, but tonight, she's looking amazing. It may just be the sting of jealousy I feel when I look back and see Hunter and Andrea together, but I really wanted to be dancing with Jenn right then and there. We didn't talk, I didn't have to think of something to say or a topic to discuss, we just danced and had fun.

"Hey, Jenn!" A familiarly cheery voice pinged from behind the two of us.

As her face came into view, of course, it was Andrea. She probably had no idea that the guy Jenn was backing up on was me, or else she probably would not have come over here. Andrea and I have had our fair share of awkward moments in the past few days.

"Hey, girl!" Jenn screeched back.

Andrea smiled at me next, "Kian?"

I waved at her slowly, trying not to speak because I would most likely say the wrong thing.

Next added into this awkward mix was Hunter, who walked up and put his hands on Andrea's hips, reaching his head around and pecking her cheek with a kiss.

A surge of jealously raged through me, then I made a swift and possibly regrettable move. I placed a hand on Jenn's chin, smiling at her before registering a signal into her blue eyes, then I leaned down and kissed her. It was a pretty physical kiss, a lot of kissing and not a lot of emotion, which at this moment I did not particularly mind. We kissed for what seemed like forever, both of us making little teasing gestures with our lips and tongues, intensifying our little public make out session a little more.

Jenn pulled away finally, looking straight at me, but it wasn't a look of lust or longing to kiss again, it was more confused and worried than anything. It was like she didn't enjoy the kiss, like something was on her mind, but when her lips hit mine, they told a different story.

"What's wrong?" I asked, stroking my thumb across her cheek.

Jenn shook her head, trying to force a smile, but I wasn't buying it.

"Seriously." I argued with her look, letting her know that I wasn't going to take an empty, "I'm fine" as a proper response.

She shook her head again, then gave me a little half smile before locking my lips again.
