"We made out the night before I left." I lied to Kian. Yeah, I know, lying to your friend like that is kind of a dick move.
"You made out?" He asked.
I smiled, readying myself to lie further, "If I wouldn't have stopped it, I think we would have had sex. I think she would have missed me too much if we did, so I stopped her before the clothes came off."
You don't understand. I'm a seventeen year old virgin with no girls after me. The guys in O2L are in their twenties and have millions of girls chasing them, I can't let Kian know that I have a hopeless crush on Ashley and she probably doesn't even want me. I mean, yeah, we may have kissed at the airport, but that's nothing compared to what Kian and the other guys probably get.
"Damn, dude," he said, giving me a soft high five, "Nice job."
Mission accomplished. Kian thinks I'm cool and girls are after me, and I don't feel as bad about turning down Jenn anymore. I do like Jenn, but it was bound to happen sometime. There is no way I was going to keep up with a long distance relationship.
