Remington:
Alex and I woke up to Emerson knocking on my door. He opened it when I didn't answer.
"Remington, I know you're upset but it's four in the afternoon!" Emerson barged in
Emerson froze when he saw us both.
"Cause screw knocking." Alex yawned
I chuckled at her messy hair. She was adorable. Even when she just woke up.
"Alex?" Emerson said "When did you get here?"
"Last night." I answer getting up and putting a shirt on
"Wait- you guys didn't-?" Emerson started to ask
Me and Alex looked at each other. Laughing.
"Um, no." Alex said
"What happened to you?" Emerson said noticing the marks on her face
Alex stood up, shaking out her messy hair.
"Curiosity killed that cat Emerson." Alex said
"And satisfaction brought it back Alex." Emerson replied
Alex stood there a minute before running to the bathroom.
Emerson and I looked at each other, concerned for a moment before quickly following her. Alex was puking her guts up.
Emerson and I exchanged looks.
"Morning sickness." I mumbled under my breath
I said nothing as I sat down next to Alex on the floor, tucking her hair back and rubbing her back.
She must have puked twenty times.
"Shit..." She mumbled before puking again
"Motherfucker!"
"I think the baby can hear you." Emerson said, arms crossed from the doorway
Alex glared at him before throwing a bar of soap at him, Emerson dodged it before disappearing.
Alex rested her head on her elbow and closed her eyes. Groaning.
I felt so bad for her. I rubbed her back and pressed my lips to her temple.
"You're okay." I said softly as I rubbed her back
After a moment, Alex opened her eyes. Sighing.
"Alright. I think I'm good."
She stood up and grabbed her toothbrush that she left here last time she stayed. Brushing her teeth.
I smiled at her.
"What?" She mumbled, her mouth full of toothpaste
"Nothing- you're just- cute."
She cocked an eyebrow, looking in the mirror and spitting the toothpaste.
"Pardon?"
I smiled, bopping her nose and walking out of the bathroom.
Cute.
