He lied. He did leave me.

A few weeks after Andrea showed up, Maggie and Glenn got captured. Daryl, Rick and the new girl Mitchonne went to go rescue them. They returned without Daryl, saying he left with Merle and that he said he was sorry. I was heartbroken.

He promised he'd never leave, but he did.

I cried and cried, crying out for him. But he never showed up. I soon collected myself and started going out with Maggie to search for him. We found no trace of him or Merle. Then Rick brought in a lot of Woodbury civilians, but I didn't pay them much attention, until a virus started but I was barely there and never got it.

The Governor attacked once while I was gone, Lori went into labor and had her baby. It was a girl and Carl named her Judith. Rick took it hard and went crazy, but soon collected himself.

I was really stressed out because I forgot to think of my child. I was sick every other day, violently pale and barely eating, since I could barely hold it down. Daddy made sure I didn't leave my cell unless it was to shower or use the bathroom.

Then the Governor showed up.

I was in my cell, sicker than a dog when he decided to show up. I didn't even know he was here at first, then I heard Carl yell into my cell for me to get my things and get on one of the buses. I did as told and packed what little i had and went outside, being greeted by Maggie and Beth yelling daddy.

I didn't understand why they were yelling, then I saw it. Michonne and dad on their knees, in front of the Governor. Having no type of range weapon I couldn't help. I only had a hatchet.

Tears stung in my eyes as I ran down the hill to them instead of to the packed buses. I stopped beside Rick and whimpered loudly as he started speaking to the evil man. He flashed a smile toward me as the sword was removed from his neck, but it quickly faded as the sword was swung back down; decapitating him.

And then the first shot rang throughout.

I ran behind the closest thing, which happens to be a car. I unlocked my hatchet and got ready to attack whoever came around the other side of that car. Nobody did but I heard someone running near me but they stopped.

I waited and listened but nothing happened besides everyone else shooting and screaming. A single shot was heard from the other side of the car and me falling forward, clutching onto my leg. A bullet grazed it.

I waited for something else to happen but it never did. Two big figures came around the car, one with a knife where his hand should be and one wielding a crossbow.

Merle and Daryl.
