Chapter XII: Devourer of Worlds

It was nighttime outside, and I hate it, because of the gastropods flying around us. If Leafy had a flamethrower, we will have no problem about the gastropods, and they'd drop a lot of gel so he can have a large supply of ammo/gel for the flamethrower. After few hours of dodging lasers, we finally got out of the forest. Looking at the moon's position, it's almost midnight. I felt sleepy, but I need to save Lilia from the Naiads. Who knows what will they do to her?

"Luna, I'm tired. I want to sleep." Tangy told me.

"We cannot fight properly if we are tired." Leafy continued.

"He's right. The Naiads are quick and powerful." said Viz.

"Fine, we will take a break." Then suddenly, everyone fell down and falls asleep, as if all of them got hit on their heads. I rolled my eyes, recalling what I did to Tangy when she was a dryad. I laid down on the grass, and thought, 'I hope Lilia is okay.' then I close my eyes and slept.

"Hello lil' girl." a Naiad entered my prison.

"What do you want from me?"

"Well right now, I was bored,and you look sad so I think I should make the both of us happy."

"With what?" Then I heard a zip. 'Oh no' "Wait nooooo!!!"

I woke up in the morning feeling fresh and ready to fight. The others are still sleeping. I frowned, 'Sleepyheads.' I noticed that we are on the outskirts of Spectra Valley. They might wake up in an hour or later, so I went back to the castle to do something.

When I opened the door, I went to my room to organize my inventory. and craft better items, if possible. 'I could ask Xavier if she knows about re-forging. That can be useful.'

"Who are you?"

"Ahh!"

"Oops, sorry Luna."

"Clint, don't do that again on anyone."

"So... what we are gonna do?" Clint asked me.

"Not much, I'll get some stuff in my room. Can you join me?"

"Join what?"

"To get to the Corrupt Canyon and save Lilia from the Naiads."

"Sure."
