Chapter XIII: Purification

Lilia looked down to the king.

"Lilia, destroy them." She obeyed him, opened her mouth, and started firing large balls of cursed flame at us.

"Ahhh!" I ran away from the fireballs.

"Everyone attack!" shouted Leafy, it was a bad idea.

"Wait everyone stop, the monster is still Lilia."

"Let me help you." The corrupt king pointed his staff at the others, a purple beam came out and turned them into ebonstone.

"What did you do?!"

"Don't worry, your allies will be fine with me, and they will go back to normal if you defeat her. Besides, you want to stop them right?" He has a good point. Sometimes, he can be clever.

"Lilia, remember who you are!" No reply, but she raised her foot. I jumped out of the way before she stomped on me. "It's, me Luna, you have to stop!" Again, she didn't respond. She knelled down and raised her fist, she tried to crush me again. I have no choice but to attack her. I grabbed my spell book and shoot at her body. When she got hit, she roared and became more aggressive that she starts shooting cursed fireballs at me. I managed to dodge most of the attacks but one got hit on my arm. I put out the flame as quickly as possible. It was difficult, and my arm got burned. She's about to do another flame attack, but I stopped her by shooting crystals at her knee. She knelled and clutched her knee.

"I thought you won't attack her." The king taunted me.

"I only did that to stun her."

"That's what I thought, clever. Now then, I will buff her so you will have a bad time." he raised his staff and shot a blue beam at Lilia. 'That staff turned Lilia into a giant, and turned my friends into statues.' I got an idea, but I got interrupted by Lilia's roar. All her wounds were gone, and her eyes turned blue.

"Any other tricks up your sleeve, Luna?." Revictus asked feeling confident.

"Don't worry, I got a plan." First, I shot crystals at the giant's eyes to stun her for a while then I drew my Phasesaber and charge at him.

"What? Zane counter her!" Zane drew his Night's Edge. I knew him, he is one of the elite naiads and a 'friend'. He was hard to kill but thanks to Revictus teaching me a long time ago, I beat him quite easily. I walked towards him, my phasesaber locked on him.

"Wait, please don't kill me. I have my own people to lead."

"Don't worry, I won't hurt you."

"Well I like to remind you that you forgot something."

"What?" Then he point his finger upwards while backing off slowly. I looked up to see something black and it got closer towards me. "Oh crap..."

I raise my arm to command the Devourer to raise her foot and step back. I picked up the Night's Edge from my fallen elite. I walk towards the spy.

"So, how it feels like being crushed like a roach." She didn't reply but simply stared at me. "You're silent. Let's make it permanent. I raised the sword, about to impale her.

"Before you kill me, I got one question for you." she spoke weakly.

"About time, so what is your very last question?" I kept the sword above her chest so she won't escape.
