Chapter VI: Hallow Forest

We reached the Hallow Forest. So much about what I said to Luna. I found a few dead gunners in our path (no pun intended). I used the anvil to mix bullets with cursed flames to make more than 1500 cursed bullets. And I found a blue phasesaber from a dead warrior. Of course I gave it to Luna because it's in her color. Luna found some greater healing potions, a spiked ranger emblem, and a hornet staff. Luna gave me the emblem and summoned the hornet. Seeing the pixies flying around the trees, the hornet shot its stinger at one of the pixies. We killed the rest with our cursed bullets and crystal pellets. Luna commented, "That was easy." In the middle of the forest, we found an abandoned cottage. It's mostly made out of pearlwood and pearlstone bricks, and surrounded by pearlwood fences. We went inside, the room is simple, a bed, a dresser, a furnace, a cooking pot, a table with a chair, and a sofa. There is a chest nearby. Luna checked the dresser while I looked at the chest. It contains an iron axe, 2 tin bars, 3 iron bars, lots of pearlwood, and a golden breastplate. Luna found 2 gold coins, 71 silver coins, 40 copper coins, some silk, and a mining helmet. "I guess there was a lumberjack in this cottage."

"Yeah, was. Let's leave. I'm thinking of destroying this cottage for resources in the future by the way."

Luna opened the door and something white came in.

*neigh!!!*

"Ah!"

"Unicorn!"

I pick up my minishark and shot at the unicorn. "Curse this bonehead!" Luna takes the final strike by slicing the unicorn's horn off using her phasesaber. She took the horn, while I took the soul of light and some coins. "Ok, let's really get out of here."

"Definitely."

I heard some gunshots in the forest. I check in to find out that it came from the abandoned house. I hid behind a tree and looked.

"Ok, let's really get out of here."

"Definitely."

I saw two humans, a gunner and a mage as they left the abandoned cottage. Quietly, I followed them. I need to be careful so they won't notice me.
