Chapter V: Reunion, and Preparations

She ran towards me and hugged me. "I miss you so much."

I replied, "I miss you too Luna."

"Sorry for attacking you."

"That's okay, I could have done the same on you. So what did you do while you're alone, and what happen to your shoulder?"

"I mostly cry because of you know, the disaster. Then I start looting. Then a zombie bit me."

"I did the same minus the crying. I'm very upset myself. And I'll get some healing potions for you."

"How long have you been in the castle?"

"Three days. Right now I'm making a sword so I can find the others, until you appeared."

What happened to your sister, Jade?"

"I don't know. When I woke up, I was alone. How about Azuri?"

"Same. Let's go find some food in the kitchen. I'm hungry, and I have only eaten fish for a month."

"I'm about to say that Luna."

After I gave her some potions, we went to the kitchen to find something to eat. I checked the chests. Only what I found is Basses. "Luna, I found some Basses."

"Really, only what I ate last month is cooked fish. I'm looking for something else to eat."

"Fine to me." I went to the cauldron to cook the basses, until...

"Aaaaah!!!"

"Luna!" I ran as fast as I could to the storage room to find a mimic biting her arm.

"Help me!"

I drew my titanium sword. "Take this!" I hit the mimic, releasing her arm. "Are you okay?"

"Not really, kill this thing!"

I gave her a healing potion and slashed the mimic. After one more hit, it disappeared into smoke, leaving 12 gold coins, 32 silver coins, and a hard philosopher's stone.

"Is it dead?" Luna looked at me.

"It's gone. Is your wound gone? Did you find anything to eat?"

"I'm fine, and only what I found is pho and a pumpkin pie.

"Keep the pie, you'll have the pho, and I will have the fish."

She nodded, and we left.

After we ate our dinner, I went to my room to organize my stuff. I put my short words, my wood fishing rod, the crystal shards, and the souls of light in my chest. I went to the crafting room to use the loom. I created silk, then a robe, then I add sapphires. I tried the sapphire robe, it looks good to me. I went to the forge room where Leafy is right now. I check the chests, few basic bars. I used copper to craft a pair of greaves. I put the bars back, then I went back to my room to sleep.

I woke up in the morning, the most comfortable one in this month. I change my clothes, although I'm still gonna wear my hat and robe. I went out of my room to find Leafy. "Leafy, where are you?"

"In the kitchen, our breakfast is ready."

I entered the dining room to find Leafy putting plates of fried eggs on the table. I pick up my fork and started eating. "Hey, it tastes good. I didn't know that you can cook."

"Thanks, but that's Lilia's job. She makes the best food."

"So where should we go?"

"How about the Hallow Forest."

"Good Point. Let's prepare after we finish eating."

After I finished eating, I went back to my room to put away some stuff, and got my Crystal Storm and copper greaves. I also took my chainsaw just in case I ran out of mana. I went out of the castle to find Leafy wearing titanium just like last night. He had a titanium sword on his right hand, and a minishark on his back. "Why do you have a minishark when you don't even have any bullets?"

"While we are searching, we will find loot scattered from the remains of the war. And if I'm lucky, I might find some bullets."

"Ok, then let's go searching, and looting."
