Black and White

I value myself by the amount of animals and babies that automatically take a liking to me. It's an aforementioned statement but one I stay true to. Why?.. you ask. Let me answer your question with a question to have you feel silly before I point out every reason why you should do the same. Why not? In a world of cold hearts and benign beings, we have the epitome of unbiased. The innocent, the pure. The minds of living things that can't comprehend between right or wrong actions but just a light or dark aura. Beings that contemplate upon the vibe you put out there instead of the façade or whatever it is that you try so hard to be. There is bliss in ignorance but even more so in innocence. And they see through you. Eyes that seek genuine guidance, they share no bias. You're either white or black. Maybe this is the reason why they see in black and white. And to them, that's all you are.. White or black. You're the only shades they see, there is no grey. You are either light or darkness, there's no in between. Minds that yet haven't grasped the concept of money, fame and financial status. They see you as a walking heavy or light soul. Whether you have made a million mistakes and told a billion lies to get you through, or if you just happened to make a million mistakes. There's no if or buts but just yes and no's. And focus on my irony for a minute. Worth isn't in the eyes of the beholder because most of us hate ourselves. Worth is in the eyes of the one who can't understand worth but still find themselves drawn to others because they trusted their gut instinct, their bold first move they make when you walk into the room, whether they run from you or toward you, whether they shy away or continue to let you pet them, they can teach the older ones a thing or two. It's either they trust you or they don't. And the bluntness of it all, they don't have to apologize for seeing you as you are.
