The smoke coming from our house indicates us that we are a little too late. The guy with wings held me more tightly as we decent to the ground, not very far from our house. He put me down gently and then I dashed towards the house.

It was burning, the half side of our house are starting to burn like crazy. It was like my dreams have foretold me.

“Mom! Uncle Harold where you?”

I scream as I darted towards the porch, which still not on fire.

“Sweetie where here!” My mom voice came from the dirty kitchen.  As soon as I reach her, she started giving me my bag that she packed up recently with my clothes. As I looked at her, I saw that there something change in her appearance, she look younger, not too young but younger, and she was wearing a black jeans, boots, and a black tank top.

On her back was a quiver of golden arrows and a golden bow.

Uncle Harold wore the same clothes and on his back was a golden sword. As soon as we are all out of the house, the stranger, the guy that brought me here approaches my mom.

They spoke a different language that I don’t understand. My mom nods and she approaches me.

“Bethany, you should listen to me very carefully. This guy will take you to the sanctuary. Inside of your bag are my journal, and the book of the unspoken. You should take care of it and never let anyone have it.”

“I thought where going together?”   My eyes suddenly moist, I don’t know why but there is deep inside me that telling me that my mom and I are parting ways.

“This bow and arrow will keep you safe, I’ve written everything on my journal and it will guide you all the way. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you all about this, and I’m sorry that I won’t be around for you to explain everything.

You have to reach the sanctuary, read, and know everything you have to know.”

Then Uncle Harold gave me his sword but this time it was wrapping neatly with black leather.

“I trust that you will hand this sword to the right owner. Your mom had written his name on the journal and the reason why you should give him this sword. Be good Bethany, and learn to trust them.”  Then he gave me a kiss at the top of my forehead.

“I’m sorry darling; we can’t make it with you!  She put her hands on my face. Be careful always, and remember I love you!” Then she kisses me on my cheeks. She pushes me towards the stranger’s arms and he holds me firmly while dragging me gently towards the grove not very far from our house.

“Mom! Please wait! Let go of me!” I said trashing to his hold. I kept screaming but they never turn on my side.

“Keep quiet and look above!” He said to me silencing my hopeless screams.

That’s when I paid attention to the sky. At first it was clear but as time passed by, the sky above our house forms a massive dark collection of clouds. Along with it was lighting and thunder rumbling.

That’s the first time I saw them, a group of angels wearing a heavy gear of combat armor.

With heavy wings, golden wings. They were nine of them, wearing helmets bearing swords and spears; I think that the one on front and lead was the leader of the group.

As they approach my mom and Uncle Harold they speak the language that the stranger and my mom recently spoken.

We both watch them, hidden on the trees, they are having some conversation and the after a while the leader is somewhat shouting at my mom. My mom shouting at them too with the foreign tongue, then it became intense, they start drawing swords and spears and my mom and Uncle Harold starting taking weapons from their coats and shoes.
