After an hour or so waiting for Daniel to return, I was getting sleepy. I remembered what Daniel told me about not to sleep. I find ways to keep my eyes open. When I’m out of ideas, I remember a thing that always keeps me awake. I open up the black leather bag pack and retrieve the journal.

      I sit on my bed, and started flipping the page of the journal, and once again, I found another new hidden page.

    I started reading my mom had written on it. Another secret that I should have known before, but unfortunately my mom want it to be hidden, but now I need to know more. I started reading it;

  After my encounter of Shamsiel and Sataniel’s son, and after she warn me not to return there, I came back to where I reside, my old house.

     After I was considered fallen, I came across to wonder the sinner soil for refuge. Tired and afraid, I don’t stay on one place, I keep moving, and in that lucky day they found me. They were an old couple who lives on Auburn a state on Washington. They were both old and nice, and in years they are not blessed with a child.

    I woke up on a clean bed and wearing clean clothes. All my injuries are treated and beside me lay the most important thing for me, the book. A soft knock on the door keep me focus, and then she entered. An old lady wearing a lace apron, in her hands is a tray with cookies and tea. She was blond and maybe she was beautiful on her younger years. She set the tea on the table beside the bed and sits beside me. She is nice, and warm. She asks me about myself, my name.

I told her that I can’t remember clearly what happen, that I was lost and I can’t remember my past. Of course I lied about it, but mundane, nice or not won’t believe me if I tell her the truth so I go along with my lies.

 I change my name from Israel to Isabel.

    She told me that she and her husband found me lying on the middle of the street along the old highway on the middle of the raining night. They decided to took me in; I was all injured and tattooed. I can’t explain to her about my rune, so I let her think it was tattoo all over me. They treat my wounds, and I was out for three weeks.

   They both started to worry that I might not woke up, so she was relief to find my eyes open this morning.

    They are both nice, and they even take me to the doctor to help me remember my past, but as the doctor told them that the injury is permanent, they both decided to take me in.

    I’ve learn their names, the wife was Jocelyn Witburn and the husband was George Howard. Jocelyn was once a model and George a retired military. They treat me as their own daughter, and set all what I need. They process my papers so in the end I was name as Isabel W. Howard and I retained like that. They put me on school and everything. I still have time to locate the whereabouts of my comrade. I took high school, they don’t know my age, so they rely on my face, with that I passed as a seventeen year old teen ager. I passed it with flying colors, and I got to college.  That’s when I met him. I was thrilled to know more about my mom so I kept reading.

   He was the aced player of the varsity on our college. flank by girls all the time, when he started paying attention to me. He was tall, with lean and broad shoulder. He has that curly brown hair, and a winning smile. Unlike those guys on the varsity, he was nice and shy sometimes. We started talking and sharing secrets, and as the time goes by I fell for him, His name was Leonel.

      As we graduated college we keep on dating and then we get married.

As soon as we are married my dad and mom started to get sick and after a year or so they died on the same day and time. I was heartbroken, for the first time I shed a tear for a mundane.
