Chapter 3

Genes P.O.V.
I sat behind the counter, secretly playing my DS till a customer actually wants to buy something.
Victoria's Secret isn't the best choice of work..
Oh well..
I'm playing on my DS, and then as soon as a lady walks up to the counter my phone rings.
And I know it's my brother because it played, "Yo it's your brother! Pick up the phone! PICK UP THE PHOOOOONE!!!" And then it repeated.
I laughed nervously and answered it.
"What!" I asked through gritted teeth.
"Ok.. so.. Pet got taken in the middle of the night by these weird dudes in the demon realm so Y/n got mad told me to call you and say that she went to the demon realm to get Pet back!" Dante said quickly and gasped for air.
"W-what... you mean.. she went to the realm?!??" I asked.
"Yeah... should we go after herrrr orrr?" Dante asked for clarification.
"IM going after her, you stay in school ya dope!" I said.
"What about work?" Dante asked.
"Who cares about work when my girlfriend could be burning to death!!" I screamed into the phone, maybe I'm over exaggerating?
She's a strong girl and she can handle anything!
I believe in her, but I can't help but be worried.
"Ok ok.. don't die big bro." Dante said.
"I won't, call ya soon hopefully." I said.
We hung up the phone and I turned to the woman.
She had a shocked face, guess she heard me?
Whatever! I need my girlfriend!
I hoped over the counter and ran out of the store.
I ran through the mall until I found the exit.
~~TIME SKIP~~
I quickly parked my car, and ran to the house.
I busted open the door making Jack jump out of surprise.
"Y/N'S IN THE DEMON REALM!!" I screamed.
I guess I scared him too much, because when I did burst through the door he yelled, "JESUS F*CKING CHRIST!"
And he was eating cereal so when he jumped it flew into the air and splatter on his head.
So he was covered in cereal with a shocked expression.
"Sorry.. did I startle you?" I asked.
I nodded, quickly getting up and running to the kitchen.
Coincidentally there was a towel on the counter.
He wiped his face off, and turned to me, "Y/n's in the demon realm!?! Why would she be there!?!" Jack asked.
"Pet got taken in the night so she went to look for her! Should we travel there to help out?" I asked.
"Nuh uh, last time I tried to help out with this stuff F*cking battle axes swung at me!" Jack said.
"Right.l but this is your sister! And my girlfriend, we should go help her!" I stated.
"Gene. We both love her to death but SHES a demon, WE'RE not! Not even ten minuets we would get caught by guards and burned  to death." Jack said shaking his head.
"Listen, I want to help her.. I'm just not sure how." Jack said with sadness in his eyes.
"Hmm...can't we get Greg or Blaze to help us?" I asked.
Jack thought for a moment, his face lit up.
"What we can do is find Devon, he must be at the castle! I have to maintain the house.. can you go.. I know you're strong." Jack said.
I nodded in agreement.
He let me upstairs into Y/n's room, on her desk sat her spare scissors.
I took them and tried my best to copy what Y/n does with them.
I ripped a hole into the world and stepped in.
I closed it, and stuff the scissors in my pockets.
It's.. really chaotic here..
More then usual.
Pets P.O.V. it's short but didn't expect dat did ya!?!?
Cold.
That's what I feel.
I feel coldness.
Everywhere is pitch black and all I ever hear is the screams of innocent demons.
I heard footsteps come toward me.
"She's the demon with the shovel!" One hissed.
"She's weak, don't give her attention!" Another one said.
I don't know who these demons are.. I can only hear, not see.
"Don't worry she'll break in no time!" One stated.
I growled.
"Shut it lint licker." I snapped at whoever said that.
"Big words for a dumb animal!" One hissed.
I growled, "Shut up followers!" A deep memorizing voice said.
It grew a silent six seconds before the deep voice spoke again .
I could tell he was leaned close to me.. I could feel the heat of his breath.
"I will break you, until all you know is to fight by my side. You stupid human loving demon!" He spat.
Break me? What does he mean?
I don't think I wanna know..
Your P.O.V.
"GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF ME!!" I yelled kicking at the guards.
"You wanna see King Devon, fine.you get to see King Devon! When he sees you he'll put you behind bars!" One of the guards spat.
I'm his friend you imbeciles!!
They DRAGGED my down halls until they reached the study room.
There sat a paranoid looking Devon.
He sat at a desk that was covered in books and papers, he wore glasses and was reading a book, the cover said, "Technique and strategy to kill big beasts!'
He must be trying to find a way to defeat Gorou Inaba.
"King Devon! This low life claims she's a friend of yours, and must speak to you!" One of the guards scoffed.
"I'm a bit busy if you can't tell so-- Y/N!!!" Devon said, interrupting himself when he looked up.
He jumped out of his eat, making it fall over.
"Drop her!" Devon demanded.
They did as told and dropped me, I landed on my feet JOKES ON YOU IF YOU THOUGHT ID LAND ON MY KNEES!!
"I'm so sorry Y/n! Their new guards here. Anyway! Are you here about Gorou Inaba!?! Because I could really use your and Pets help!" Devon apologized.
"Hey.. where is Pet?" Devon asked looking around.
"Well.. you see Devon, I came here for Gorou Inaba and.. something else." I said.
Worried now plastered his face.
"Pet was taken by Gorou's followers." I said.
He gasped.
"We must find her!! I'll have an army look over the whole kingdom!
Guards gather up guards for a big search party!" Devon said.
They nodded and ran off.
"Y/n, follow me." Devon said, he lead me down a long hallway.
We walked down stairs, after stairs, after stairs.
Until we were at the bottom of the castle.
Torches lit the hallways now.
He opened a big door.
It looked like a medical room, and in bed...
Layed my mother.
She smiled weakly at me.
"How are ya Y/n? I missed you."
