Chapter 6

Your P.O.V.
I skipped down the spiral stair case quickly, because my face was beet red!
How did I even get the courage to ask him that?!?
"GAHH!" I heard from down stairs, at an even quicker pace I ran to the bottom to see a black cloaked person with a hood over their head crushing a humans neck.
Devon who was on the floor, scrambled to his feet, and ran to the pinned down human and cloaked person.
He yanked the cloaked person off of the human, and stabbed it in the heart with a sharp dagger that appeared in a tight grip in Devons hands.
The human fell to the floor holding their neck.
The human was a girl with a gold necklace that hung from her neck.
"Are you ok human?" I asked worriedly.
"Wow.. don't even recognize your own sister." She said in between coughs.
She shakily took the necklace that hung from her neck off revealing none other then my sister.
Her long red hair was beautiful then ever, and her blue eyes shimmered in the light we had in the ceiling.
"Sis!" Yelped the familiar voice of Greg, he ripped off the gold neck lace that hung from his neck, revealing his brown spiked hair and his black eyes.
"What is going on?!" I asked worriedly.
"What's going on is one of Inaba's followers found them, even when they were hidden by the spell." Devon huffed.
"This is the first attack yet so, I was too surprised to do anything." Blaze said.
"Yeah! That hooded dude was soooo fast! It was like that fast big cat with dots!!" Greg exclaimed.
"A cheetah, it's a cheetah Greg." Blaze said annoyed.
"Wh-what ever!" Greg huffed.
"Mhmm.. anyway, why are you two here. Devon said he wouldn't come back down here if it was an emergency or when Inaba was finally f*cking defeated." Blaze said her eyes squinting at us.
"So what the f*ck is going on? Don't make me read your minds." Blaze hissed.
Always with her bad language.
"We need you in battle. The two of you." Devon said.
"Also.." I began, catching their attention before they could say anything.
"Pets been taken by Gorou Inaba's followers. We need all the help we can get." I said frowning.
"You mean, to tell me, Pet got taken and Devon needs help fighting? Sure. Greg?" Blaze asked turning to him.
"Uhh... yeah! Sure!" He said smiling.
(K I forget if Blaze the one in my book has red, orange or your hair color so it's just gunna be red! XD)
I smiled pleased with their answer, I was startled by the arm that wrapped around me, but form the warmth I knew it was Gene.
"Gene? I haven't seen you in a year." Blaze said raising an eyebrow.
"I guess you two are still together?"  Blaze asked crossing her arms under her chest.
I nodded, hugging Genes side.
"Yeah.." Gene said kinda distant from the conversation.
Something's on his mind.
I take his hand in mine, he doesn't look at me.
I interlock our fingers, still no reaction.
I squeeze his hand, still. Nothing.
Ok something's definitely up!
"Blaze, Greg, Devon. Excuse Gene and I for a second." I said now dragging Gene into what looks like the bathroom and locking the door behind us, and that's when he finally snapped out of it.
"Huh, what?" Gene said confused.
"What's the matter?" I asked concerned.
"N-nothing! Nothing's wrong, Y/n!" Gene said not sounding very reassuring, I squinted my eyes at him.
"Don't lie to me baby, tell me what's wrong." I said stepping closer to him, he was standing in the corner, so I could corner him.
"I promise you Y/n. Nothing's wrong!" Gene said in a non convincing smile.
He held my hands and gave then a squeeze.
I just had to trust him for now.
He's lyyyyyying
What the?! Why was there a voice in my head?!

Well, that's how we would communicate, right? Anyway, the boy you call boyfriend is a filthy liar.
If it's this troubling to him that he can't tell me, then I shouldn't push!

Gene stood there his face a little red, he frowned that a wide smile spread across his face, "Gene, she love you. That's why she you deserve her." Gene said to himself.
He was about to walk down the stairs when a girl walked into the room, she gave off this seductive aura.
"Gene...~" she purred.
Gene was startled and turned to the girl.
"But... how... you just... WHAT??!" Gene said obviously confused about something.
The girl soon appeared in front of Gene, her chest pressed against his, Genes face still in shock.
"What, did you forget about your girlfriend?~" she purred leaning her face towards Gene and in my horror she kissed Gene.
Gene kinda stiffened and started to passionately kiss back..
Soon after a few good minuets, the girl disappeared leaving Gene to his thoughts.
And he just went straight down stairs.

My vision came back and that little voice disappeared.
I stared teary eyed at Gene, he raised an eyebrow.
I slapped him across the face and stormed out of the bathroom.
"We must try and look-- Y/n? What's wrong?" Devon asked me cutting himself off.
He place a hand on my arm making me immediately rip my arm away from him, "I NEED SOMETIME ALONE!" I hissed running up the stairs, letting my tears erupt from my eyes like a volcano.
My body slammed to the ground once I got to the classroom floor, my body shaking one half wanting me to go back and apologize another wanting to get up and run forever!
I'm not one to just react from a stupid vision, that could've been a mind trick...could it?
Devons P.O.V.
I stared at the staircase that Y/n had just ran up, I couldn't see her... but I felt her presence.
We all turned to the bathroom door when it started to open, revealing a shocked Gene with a red hand mark on his cheek.
"WHAT THE F*CK DID YOU DO TO MY SISTER YOU BASTARD!!!" Blaze growled stepping towards Gene.
"I-I.... don't know..." Gene said.
Ok, now I'm super confused.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T--","Blaze, calm down. Let him speak." I said interrupting her and placing my hand on her shoulder, letting her relax a bit.
"Ugh.... fine." She huffed taking in a deep breath.
"The problem is... I really don't know... I need to run after her.. I can't lose her!" Gene yelled beginning to run up the stairs, but in a swift motion I gripped his wrist.
"Gene! What do you mean you don't know?!" I asked getting a little frustrated.
Little things these days can set me off the edge.
It's hard I admit being such a young king but I manage just fine, on the outside.
The maids that come and clean my study or room can find my crying or stressing, maybe even angrily throwing fire at my walls.
My eyes have been more and more turning red, and my mothers succubus powers are showing in my aura making human and demon girls fall for me when I don't even mean to make them.
My eyes flashed a violent red then back to the half red and brown.
It shocked Gene, and he was lost for words.
"Dude. I can't explain this!" I just gatta see Y/n.. she's not one to just smack and run!" Gene argued trying to rip his wrist out of my grip.
Finally giving in I let him run up the stairs.
Genes P.O.V.
Made it too the empty classroom, my feet pounded against the wood flooring as I ran to the exit.
"Gene~" purred the familiar voice form last time.
"You're not my Y/n!" I growled before running out the door into the crowded hallways.
I saw a glimpse of Y/n's S/C hand slip through the crowd, her quiet sobbing but I could hear it.
"Y/N!" I yelled running after her, pushing past everyone.
"GO AWAY!" She yelled, I couldn't see her face..
I ran and grabbed her hand in mine, "G-Gene... please stop.." she sobbed.
People began to stare and form a circle around us but giving us a lot of space, "No! Y/n! Telling me to stop is like telling me to stop loving you!" I said pulling her to my chest letting her knees buckle.
We slowly fell to the ground, her arms wrapped around me tightly as was mine around her.
Her warm face stuffed into my chest.
"Wh-what happened?..." I asked her shakily.
"...Gene I saw a vision of you and a girl." She said looking up and me with her crying face.
Her lip quivered and her body shook.
"I'll explain to you.. I was thinking to myself why should I deserve you and then I knew the answer.. so I was about to head down stairs when a girl came in the room.
That girl.. looked and sounded exactly like you.
She didn't act like you and she tried to kiss me, I refused because I knew it wasn't you. But it's like she controlled me.
She made me kiss her, Y/n." I said looking in her wide eyes, full of apology and sorrow and happiness?
