Chapter 12

Genes P.O.V.
I woke up with Y/n in my arms, I smiled lightly down at her sleeping figure.
I lightly kissed her neck, and tightened my grip around her.
She shuffled a bit before nuzzling into my chest.
Sadly this adorable moment was broken by a knock at the door.
I sigh, and carefully get out of bed , throwing on a shirt and looked back to make sure I didn't wake Y/n.
Good, she's still asleep.
I quietly opened the door to see Megan.
"King Alex requested me to get you two for breakfast. It's down in the dining room human, the princess should know." She scoffed.
I nodded biting my tongue so I didn't growl at her.
She grumbled something to herself before walking off.
I shut the door and sighed, running my fingers through my messy black hair.
I looked over at Y/n she had taken up the whole bed now and slept soundly.
She's so cute!~
I smirked at her before getting dressed in my clothes from yesterday.
One of the maids had taken it before we went to bed to wash it so, it was fine to wear the, again.
After putting my clothes on, I combed out my hair and looked in the mirror.
Ever since I e been dating Y/n, the bags under my eyes have been slowly fading away.
I'm finally getting sleep again.
I smiled at myself before going into the bathroom, there were tooth brushes and tooth paste on the sink counter, wow, this castle must have a lot of visitors is they already have toothbrushes and toothpaste in them!
Quickly I brushed my teeth, I looked...presentable...
Yeah..
Now time to wake Y/n.
I walked into the bedroom she now was wrapped in the blankets like a burrito.
I chuckled at the sight of her, I sat on the bed and shook her shoulder.
"Y/n, it's time to get up~" I hummed.
She grunted, "Y/n c'mooonnn!" I said shaking her shoulder again.
"Mmmmm....whyyyyy..... I wanna stay here..." she said her eyes half open.
"I know but, we have to save Pet from whatever making her f*cked up." I sighed.
She let out another grunt, than a groan before getting out of bed.
I smirked to see her still wearing the lingerie.
I had persuaded her to wear it and I'm glad it worked because she looks great in it!
She got me to turn around respectfully as she got dressed, which I was fine with.
I'm not going to disobey her for something she's not ready for yet.
When she was down getting dressed, she brushed her teeth, fixed her messy hair, and gave me a peck on the lips.
We than walked out of the room, "Megan said breakfast was in the dining room." I said looking down at my girlfriend.
She gave me a nod and led me down hall after hall.
I soon heard some talking as Y/n and I grew closer to a room,
"It's hardly a problem." I heard a unfamiliar voice chuckle.
"O-ok, s-s-sorry sir!" Squeaked the familiar voice of Ruby.
Y/n and I soon entered a big room with a huge long table.
Alex sat at the head of it, sipping what looked to be coffee.
An older looking man sat near him, he had black shaggy hair and a slight stubbly chin.
Ruby hurried out of the room into a different one.
Kenji sat at the table with Devon, Blaze and Greg.
"Ah, good morning Princess Y/n." Alex spoke up.
"Good morning Alex." Y/n grumbled rubbing her eyes tiredly.
She took a seat across from Devon, I sat next to her taking a seat across from Blaze.
I soon heard foot steps making my head turn to where it was coming from.
I saw Opal with a kind smile.
She placed her hands on Alex's shoulder and pecked him on the cheek..
Wait what?
"How are you Alex, you seem tense." Opal said calmly.
"Hm? To be honest I'm stressed. I got Blaze to tell me more about what's been going on and I'm fearful for my sister." Alex said with a sigh.
Soon Summer sat food and a cup of coffee in front of Y/n and I.
(If you don't like coffee drink whatever you want XD)
"Thank you Summer." Y/n said with a kind smile.
"My pleasure, Mistress." She said and walked off.
Y/n began to take a sip of her coffee, "Can't we get Fiona to stop her?" Alex asked.
Greg,Blaze,Devon,Y/n and I tensed up at the mention of her name.
Greg and Blaze looked down in shame knowing what they had done, Y/n shakily put her mug down on the table and bit her lip, avoiding eye contact.
Devons nod I stayed silent.
"What? What's wrong?" Alex asked.
How could he not know what had happened to his sister?
Had no one actually told him.
"Darling, calm down.." Opal said rubbing his shoulders.
Were they lovers?
"Fiona... Fiona can't help...." Y/n mumbled, I saw tears brimming her eyes.
Kenji looked around confused.
He must've known Fiona if he was dating Pet, they were sisters after all...
"And why can't she?" Alex asked.
"Because..." Blaze started.
"Because..." Greg said.
"Because..." Devon said.
"Sh-she's..." Y/n said continuing.
"She's what?!" Alex growled.
"She's..." Blaze said.
"SHES WHAT!?!" Alex asked slamming his hands on the table making Opal flinch.
"SHES DEAD!" Y/n yelled.
We all looked at Alex.
His eyes widened.
"Wh-what... don't play me for a fool! Your lying!" Alex hissed standing up.
As if an instinct Opal nuzzled into his arm, whispering something only he could hear.
"She's dead..." Blaze said.
"N-no.. she was going to see the world... she was going to take over the kingdom... she...she..." Alex started talking but now choke sobs only came out.
"I'm sorry! I'm so so so sorry!!!" Blaze and Greg said in unison.
They bowed their heads I could see tears plopping on to the table form the both of them.
For they both had killed Fiona.
But it wasn't their fault.
Blazes shoulders shook violently from crying.
Alex cleared his threat, "I'm sorry you have to see this King Zach." Alex said in almost a whisper.
"No, it's fine Alex. I know how it feels to lose a loved one. When I was married with Cathryn we loved each other dearly but, all good things must come to an end, right? It's tragic she died trying to save me from my stupid actions." Zach said shaking his head.
"Right... if you'll all excuse me, I need some time alone. Opal." Alex said looking down at the silver haired worried girl.
"Y-yes Alex?" She asked.
"Follow." He said walking off.
The girl nodded, bowing politely to us and hurrying after Alex.
Y/n leaned on me and wiped a few tears on my arm while I stroked her hair to clam her down.
Kenji was wide eyed and stared down in thought at the table.
Devon looked to be in thought too along with Blaze and Greg.
But Blaze and Greg eyes were already red and puffy with tear stained cheeks.
Alex's P.O.V.
I walked to my room hearing the patter of Opals feet behind me.
"Alex..." she whispered.
"Y-y-yes?" I asked trying not to let all my tears out until I was in my room.
"Do you need a hug?" She asked me.
I didn't answer and opened the door to my room, she walked in and I closed the door.
When I turned around to face the girl tears brimmed my eyes.
"Y-yes!" I cried, she gave me a saddened look and flung herself at me with an embrace.
Dear Irean I love her.
I buried my head in the crook of her neck while I tightened my traps around the short girl.
She was my lover.
We've been dating for at least one year now.
She's helped me through a lot, when my kingdom almost came to destruction, she helped me stay clam.
But the first time I saw her, she sparked my interest.
Especially when I found out about what she is.
She is not a demon.

She's an elf.
Yes an elf, she got tired of her realm and wanted something more risky, so she came to this realm.
She decided she would get a job as a maid since she already had a clear image of what to do.
I love her, so much.
I cried deeply into her as my legs gave out on me.
I fell to the ground to my knees still hugging the woman, she fell down with me.
She made calming circles on my back which helped a bit.
It felt like I ran into a brick wall than got run over by a train a million times.
This hurt, badly.
My little sister, dead.

She had such big dreams, she told me them before she moved to Ireland when I went to visit her and Pet in their new home.
They looked up at me with such hope in their eyes as I told them about how smoothly my kingdom was going.
They spoke about what they wanted to do, but Fiona.
Oh Fiona, had such high hopes.
She said determinedly she would travel every realm, figure out new medicines, end all wars with a kingdom of her own.
She was so independent.
Why...why did this have to come all crashing down.
"Shhhshhh... it's ok... I know it hurts now Alex, but it'll get better.., I know from experience..." She whispered softly to me.
What would I do without this girl?
About what? Six, five years ago when we first met I was so blind.
I was blind that I loved her.
I wish I knew sooner so I could hold her in my arms longer.
She soon held my face in her hand took look at me.
With a sad look she kissed me deeply on the lips, which I melted into.

After breakfast, Alex had come out of his room with Opal when. We were about to set out.
His eyes were red and puffy, tear stains on his cheeks.
"Good luck. Make sure my sisters ok... I don't need another one dying." Alex said and walked off with Opal.
She bowed to us with a smile and hurried once again after Alex.
I can only imagine what he must be going through.
Gene wrapped her arm around my waist, bringing me to his side.
He gave me a sad smile, "Let's go..." he said kissing my forehead.
I nodded, Devon opened the rip to his very own...well his fathers castle. And through the rip we all gasped.
It showed trembling soldiers all looking up at Pet.
She stood on the top of the castle glaring down at all of them with red dull eyes.
Her look could kill... it was so cold.
She soon pulled out a knife, putting it to her throat, her eye turning her dark brown.
Her hair moved out of the way, revealing one blood cold dull eye.
One hand was gripping a knife trying to slit her threat while the other was holding it back.
"I'm NOt BRoKeN IM PeRfeCTlY FiNE!!!" She said in her normal voice.
"YOur NOt FInE YoUR BRoKeN!! THeY BRoKE YoU!!!" Said a cold harsh voice but still hers but... not?
"LeT ME EnD iT!!! ENd ThE SufFeRiNG!!!" Her normal voice said.
"NO! YoU MUsT KiLl Y/N!" Her weird side said.
What...
We were all frozen just looking at the scene.
"No! i WIlL NOt HUrT HeR!! ShE DOEs'nT dEseRVe IT!!!" Her normal side yelled.
I had enough of this.
I stole Devons scissors, close the rip, and made another one so we were in front of Pet.
And, we all jumped in.
