Chapter 2

Your P.O.V.
My eyes sleepily opened to see a sleeping Gene.
I giggled and poke his cheek, but he just wrapped his arms around me.
He tightening his grip around me and snored loudly in my ear, "Ok that's not even real!" I giggled.
He smirked and opened one eye, "You got me!~" he laughed.
He sat up in my bed, smiling but his smile soon faded.
"We haven't made a decision yet, have we?" He asked with a sad tone of voice.
I shook my head, "I'm not sure what I'm gunna do! I can't balance school and saving the demon realm at once!" I groaned, running my fingers through my H/C hair.
"Y/n, what ever you do. I'll be here to support you!" Gene said and gave me a sad smile.
I nodded, "Ok.. give me a little bit more time to think." I said.
He nodded, getting off my bed.
"Now, look away I'm getting dressed!" He said to me.
"What if I don't wanna look away!~" I hummed and smirked.
He grabbed a blanket, walked over to me and tied it around my eyes.
"There, a blindfold!" He said.
I took it off and turned around face planting into a pillow.
A few minuets later it was his turn to look away while I got dressed.
I took off my pants, "Nice butt." I heard Gene call, "HEY! LOOK AWAY!" I growled.
He chuckled and turned around.
Quickly I put on my uniform, and tried to make my blush die down.
"Let's go get some food, I'm starving!" I groaned heading downstairs, with Gene following.
"Alright you two! I made some, Bacon, eggs, and hash browns! Choose what ya want!" Jack said and grinned widely.
I grabbed the stuff I wanted from the choices and sat down on Genes lap.
He was sitting on the couch so he was trying to balance me and his food.
After we finished eating we headed toward my school.
"So what teachers do ya got this year?" Gene asked.
"Hmm... basically the same last year just a few new teachers that came to this school this year!" I said and grinned.
"So, your fine without me?" He asked with a playful pouting face.
I giggled, "No! I miss you all the time!~" I hummed and smirked.
He chuckled and held my hand, while walking down to the school.
I saw a figure charging at us.
I squinted trying to see who this was.
And when I caught a glimpse of light purple hair, I froze wide eyed.
I know those glasses... that long purple hair.. that running stance..
That grin.
""Y/n? Are you ok?" Gene asked worriedly.
My mouth was wide open in shock, and my eyes started to tear up.
"What is it?!?" Gene asked pulling me into his chest.
"YYYYYYYYYY/NNNNNNNNN!!!" Yelled the familiar voice.
Gene was so confused, but I said nothing just stood there in shock.
The figure soon came closer and closer, still charging at us.
The figure then pushed Gene to the ground and hugged me.
The figure made me topple over.
"Long time no see, eh?" She said and grinned.
"S-Sora..." I said my eyes still wide.
Gene got up, grabbed Soras arm and yanked her off of me.
"No! Gene! She's a friend.." I said, afraid of what he'd do.
Gene let her land on her feet and helped me up.
"Wh-what are you doing here Sora!!!" I asked questioning her arrival.
"I thought.. I thought my father killed you!" I screamed hugging her, I dug my face into her shoulder, and cried softly.
"Well.. you see, when I was about to get that axe swung at me someone saved me! I'm not totally sure what happened but I was taken home and then my parents decided to move so and wouldn't let me say bye to my friends.
And when I heard some people talking about this girl named Y/n, I grabbed them and asked what does Y/n look like!
So they told me everything!" Sora explained.
"Who.. saved you?" I asked.
"Still not sure, but I remember a woman in all white even her hair! There were white flower petals falling, she told me to grab her hand. So I did.. and then I was home!" Sora said.
My lip quivered, "Mother..." I mumbled.
"Huh?" She asked.
"Nothing! Nothing!" I said.
"Ok, who wants to tell me what's going on?!" Gene asked obviously confused.
I turne dato him, he too my hand in his.
"HEY! YOU GET YOUR GRUBBY LITTLE HANDS OFF OF HER!!" Sora scolded Gene.
"It's ok, MOM he's my boyfriend!" I said and walked closer to his chest.
My head leaned on his shoulder.
And Sora explained everything!
I could see right through Gene, he feels so sorry for us.
"Oh! Dammit! School!!" I said and started running away.
Form where I was I could hear Gene sigh.
He always misses me! It's so cute!~
~~TIME SKIP~~
"IM HERE!!" I yelled and ran into my first class.
I face planted on to the ground, and groaned.
Basically the entire class laughed at me.
"Y/N! You are 20 minuets late!!" My teacher scolded.
"I know! I'm so sorry I ran into an old friend!!" I said, getting off of the floor and rubbing the back of my head.
"Just sit down, oh and do you know where Pet is? People have been trying to contact her all day and--" the teacher got interrupted by Dante bursting into the classroom.
"Can I borrow Y/n for a second?!?" He asked, in a panic like way.
"Dante! You wanna know what, fine. I don't get paid enough for this!" The teacher muttered and continue don with the lesson she was doing before I bursted in here.
Dante grabbed my wrist and dragged me to the GIRLS bathroom.
"Your not allowed in here!" I scolded him.
"It doesn't matter!! So the principal wanted me to try and contact Pet to make sure she is ok, sense she hasn't showed up to class and didn't say she would be gone or sick," Dante started explaining.
I nodded checking to make sure no one was in here but us.
Good.. just us.
"Yeah, did ya get in contact with her? Because I can use my ring to track her down!" I said.
"I have found her.. I texted her Y/n.. and and she replied.. I'm not even sure what this means! But I know this can't be good!" He said, and gave me his phone.
I read the text message.
Pet: Dante, they took me.. tell Y/n, or Gene right away! Even Jack!
They have me! I have to go, I can't risk them seeing my phone!

My eyes widened, "What is she talking about?!?" Dante asked wide eyed.
"They have her... Gorou Inaba and his followers. Have my Pet!" I said in my demonic voice.
I turned into my human sized demon form.
"How dare they!" I screamed.
"Get Gene and tell him I'll be in the demon realm. And there's nothing that can stop me from going!" I told Dante and took out my scissors.
I cut rip in the earth and stepped into the fiery pits of hell.
I closed it the whole realm seemed more chaotic then usual,I have to admit.
More things were on fire, screams of demons were more load, you could feel their knees shake and collapse as they try and fight for their palace.
"Now, if I were to hide a powerful demon with a shovel, where would I hide her?" I mumbled to myself.
Time to look I guess.
But.. why would they take Pet? Did they detect her heat?
Wait.. Gene was on top of me all night so, did they think it was just human heat? And sense Pet lives alone.. they must've detected it!
Just you wait Pet! I will save you!
But first, I better let Devon know I'm here, I don't want to go in alone, I should have backup.
That's what Gene would want me to do.
I grinned at my plan and headed to my old castle which Devon was king of.
Just give me a few hours Pet! Or maybe minuets!
I'll save you!!
