I was still moody when I left for my room after classes. I grabbed a book curled up in a chair and took a deep breath.
I opened my book, and read a few pages.
Shit. I have homework.
I opened my bag and pulled out a parchment. 9 inches for professor binns. I freaking HATE history.
As I started to write, two of my roommates, Eve and jenna came in, chatting away.
I groaned and stood up, snatching my stuff and storming out of the room.
I needed to go to the library.
I stormed down the hallways, pushing past 1st years towards the library.
When I arrived, I took my history book and parchment out and plopped down at a table.
After 10 minutes of fruitlessly trying to write, a soft voice floated towards me.
"Do you need help?" She asked.
Her voice was strangely soothing.
"Yeah." I said.
With out hesitating, Luna sat down next to me, and started explaining things to me.
She pointed at passages from the book, drew diagram of battles, and told stories. By the time she was done talking, not only did I fully understand the mideavil history of the sisterhood of witches, I was almost completely calm.
"Now can you write?" Luna asked me.
I nodded and started writing.
Luna pulled out some runes homework, and began to translate.
I watched her write. Her hand drew perfect little letters, and her lips pressed together in concentration. A strand of her white-blond hair hung down into her face. I gently brushed it away.
Luna looked up and smiled.
I looked down quickly, and continued writing.
Luna chuckled, and looked back at her paper.
I scratched out more and more letters, until I finally filled the scrap of parchment.
I packed up my things, and begin to go to the great hall.
"Bye." Called luna's voice from behind me.
I waved, and continued off to dinner.
At dinner, I sat down across from Draco.
"Still moody?" He asked.
"Nah, I'm sorry about this morning." I replied, grabbing a bowl of soup.
He chuckled and poured himself a glass of chocolate milk.
"Chocolate milk! With soup?" I giggled.
Draco shrugged and downed the drink.
I saw Luna enter across the hall. I waved and she smiled.
Maybe I have more friends than I thought.
