The Things Amoung Us

Chapter 2

Dirk's Pov

Instead of going home immediately we stopped by Rose and Roxy's shop. Rose and Roxy are both hybrids like us. It runs in the family I guess. We're siblings. Rose is Dave's twin. Roxy is mine. Rose is 5"2. She's albino like Dave and I but her eyes are violet. Her ears are white fading into purple. To hide these she either wears a beanie or she puts a thick headband on to push them down. To avoid the being seen. She dyed the tips of her hair purple. Her tail is fluffy and fades from white to purple like her ears.

Roxy is 5"9 she's pretty tall. She did the same with her hair like Rose. Her ears are white fading into pink. Her eyes are bubblegum pink. Her tail the same as her ears.

Everyone is okay with their eyes. For reasons I do not know.

We walked into their shop that teaches and sells witchcraft related things. Rose and Roxy carry the same stuff in their bags with a few extras. The two boys had fallin' asleep on our backs. "Who is this Dirk?" Rose asked. "I'm carrying Jake. Dave is carrying John. They need some help." Rose nodded rushing us to a back room. The room has two beds, First aid kits and, a T.V.

"Set Jake down on the bed." Rose rushed out of the room instructing Dave to do the same with John. Once they were laid down, Rose checked for injuries finding a knife stab in Jake's leg and another stab in John's. probably in hopes to slow them down. Rose bandaged them up quickly. Afterwards they began to wake up. "W-what?" Jake asked. Going quickly from sleepy to scared and confused.
"Hello I presume you are Jake. I'm Rose." Rose held out her hand as a handshake. Roxy walked into the room soon after. "This is my sister Roxy. We are the sisters of Dirk and Dave as you have already met." Jake had stopped shaking. "Um..." Jake began until John woke up quickly shaking and crying. "J-jake...." "Shhh.... it's okay..... their not h..here anymore...." John quieted down. His black ears perked up. His ears were Black fading into a sky blue color. Jake's doing the same but to an alien green color. "S-sorry... to cause so m-much trouble." John began. "We uh didn't mean to." "Dude it's cool..We saved you and that's good cause if we let you go back with those guys... I don't know what would have happened." Dave spoke up. "Well Lalondes. We'll be heading back but their gonna change into our clothes first." "Okay." Rose confirmed. Rose soon left the room. Dave and I pulled ouy some clothes. And handed to the boys. They looked at them confusingly. "C-can you help u-us?" Jake asked quietly. His cheeks turning a bright pink. I pulled off the hospital gown. Seeing his tail now. He's cute like really cute. I pulled on his shirt helping him into his boxers. Pulling up his pants hiding his tail. And putting a beanie on his head. I looked into his eyes for the first time that were covered by his green glasses. Their Alien green like his ears. I looked over at Dave with the blue eyes boy holding his arm. Jake stood up grabbing onto my arm. I think he is sniffing me. Dave looked at me. John seemed to be doing the same.

"Let's go home..." I said and we walked out the door after saying goodbye to the lalondes.
