Silent Ninja Kisses
Emma blinked as she searched around for a certain mop of green hair amongst the crowd. Beside her, her psychic type Pokemon, Kirlia (aptly named 'Bella') also helped to search the crowd for the contest winner and her Trainer's friend.
"Where is he?" Emma pouted when she didn't spot green anywhere on her visual sweep through the crowd around her. "He said to meet him here, that jerk!" she added on after a second, crossing her arms over her chest in irritation.
"Kirlia! Kir kir li!" Bella began pirouetting, pointing in a single direction as she passed it and drawing much attention from herself.
"Huh?" Emma's green gaze shifted from Bella and then up to a familiar face - a grin splitting across her face. "It's about time, Drew!"
"Rose!" greeted the plant like monster at Drew's side waving the red-flower that served as her hand.
"I got a little caught up," Drew answered handing the blond Coordinator a rose (which caused Emma to squeal childishly) and mentally shivering as he remembered his female fan club that had held him up.
"That's no excuse!" Emma pouted again, swiveling around and turning her back to Drew, not catching the worried expression on his face - not wanting to bear the silent treatment she liked to pull. That was before she grinned over her shoulder at him, grabbed his hand in hers and began to lead them promptly out of the thinning crowd.
------------->
"Hey, Drew, what took you so long to get to me, anyways?" Emma inquired skipping along the path and eating a slowly melting ice cream cone.
Drew glanced up at her, noting that the rose he had given her was now tucked behind her ear. "The usual." He answered shortly, not seeing any point in answering. It was usually the same anyways.
Emma pouted but took the answer as it was. Bella skipped alongside her Trainer happily, sometimes adding in a twirl to her steps as they moved along to the next destination.
------------->
"Dreeeew!"
"What?" It should be noted that Drew never looked up from the map as he spoke.
"I'm boooooored!"
"And what am I supposed to do about it?"
"Play with meeeee!" Emma continued to whine in her usual childish fashion. Though if you called her out on it she'd just grin at you and take it as a compliment...
"I'm not going to play with you; we still have a lot of ground to cover before it gets dark." Drew answered, sometimes he felt like a parent - and it felt awkward, really.
"Fine!" And with that Emma crossed her arms and began to pout (cutely, in Drew's opinion).
------------->
"Are you still giving me that silent treatment?" Drew questioned as he ate his dinner over the camp fire, their Pokemon scattered around and eating their own Poke-food.
"..."
Drew sighed and put down his plate before he spoke again; "Fine, I'll play with you..."
"YAY!" Emma immediately stood up, food forgotten, as she grabbed the green-haired Coordinator's hands and pulled him up and to a clear area around their camp. "We'll play Silent Ninja!"
"... ... ... What?"
"You don't know how to play it?"
Drew merely shook his head 'no' in response, giving the blond a deadpan look as well. "Then I'll teach you as we play!"
"Doesn't sound fair to me..."
"Put your hands out like this." Emma instructed demonstrating, Drew hesitantly placed his hands standing in front of her. "Now, when I count down from 3, we pick a pose - it can be whatever you want." She waited for her fellow Coordinator to nod before she went on;
"3... 2... 1!"
Instantly Emma had jumped back and threw her hands up into the air, as Drew merely dropped his hands and raised a row at her. Whether it was because he thought she was insane at the moment or because he was waiting for further instruction was up for debate.
"Now, the person who counted goes first. I can move any way I want - but the object of the game is to smack the other person's hand to win. Once I move I have to stay that way until you move." She demonstrated this by stepping closer to Drew and moving her hands behind her back.
"If I were to go to smack your hand however you could move to dodge it. But once you move you have to stay that way, too, until it's your turn to move. Got it?"
"I think so..." Drew nodded unsurely - wondering about Emma's sanity at the moment.
"Good it's your turn!" Emma crowed happily as their Pokemon sat back to watch in amusement.
"All I have to do is smack your hand to win, right?" he reiterated and Emma nodded enthusiastically.
"Okay then..." he hesitantly stepped around the side to her and waited for her to make her move. Emma moved forward to suddenly, smacking his hand that he had kept to his side.
"I win!"
Drew merely blinked in shock. "Let's play again!"
"Wait, not... Fine..." he relented as she began to pull the puppy dog eyes on him. And so the two ended up playing several rounds, with Emma winning each one before Drew began to get the hang of it (and had learned to ignore the Pokemon snickering at the two as they ended up in amusing poses).
"To reiterate I can make any move, correct?" Drew questioned a long while later, raising a green brow.
Emma nodded hastily, wondering what he was up to. "Yep. Why do you ask?"
"Oh, no reason." Just after saying such a thing Drew lunged forward, catching Emma off guard and pressing his lips to hers. Emma's eyes widened in shock at the action, her mind working frantically for several seconds before her eyes slipped closed and she began kissing back. She even went to move her hands to his shoulders, moving closer to her crush.
And that was when she felt a slight tap on her right hand causing her to jerk back in surprise and to give Drew a weird look. He merely smirked at her playfully;
"I win this round."

Silent Ninja is actually a game; I just learned it recently, and it can be played with more than two people... It's more fun than it sounds.
