"Ay! Stop right here!" I told my driver.

He parked in front of her house. A smile surfaced on my face, just thinking about her. I was so anxious to see her.

"Ms. Mena would like me to escort you-

"Nah you good Al" I told him.

I jumped out of the truck and closed the door behind me. "Al take the night off."

"Yes ma'am if yah ni just let mi know." He said.

I nodded.

I walked up to the front steps, hearing the car scurrying off. Looking through the window, I'd noticed the lights were still on.

I knocked on the door and straightened myself up. I missed my babé, she had to miss me too. Everything was planned out, one being, dodging work to take her out on a real date, tormorrow.

"Oh! I see yo ass is back from that scrunchy ass da- WHOAH HEY MENA!"

The door was opened and kway had a shock expression on his face. He looked suspicious, twitching side-to-side.

"Wassup? Where is my shorty!?"

"U-uh, how bout you come inside, yanno its a little bit chilli!" He pulled me in then closed the door.

Gwen's Restaurant

I was totally out of the place as if I don't belong here. Peter made small-talk but the only thing that caught my attention was the food.

She haven't called not texted me so she must be busy, hopes thats a good thing. Even though, Erica wasn't in my prescense, she always crossed my mind.

"Ay?" He rubbed my hand.

I snapped out of my thoughts and weakly smiled. He was more than charming but my stomach didn't flutter with butterflies every time he looked at bur with her, it did.

"Sorry."

"Its ok." He chuckled. "I know work can have a toll on people."

If only he knew ...

"Look, Pete I know this date can go a lot smoother if-

"You can get him off your mind?" He said.

"U-uh yeah, how you know th-

"Cyn, its cool ma." He smiled.

"I know how you feeling, tell you the truth, I use to daydream about my ex awhile back but I had to move past it." He told me. "You know I took you here because it been a long time before I came across a beautiful woman .."

I blushed.

"So I thought to myself, let me impress her!? but I know you a little bit uncomfortable so how bout we ditched and hit up the arcades like ol' time sakes" He stared at me, licking his lips.
