When I left from the lunch-break with Cyn, I sped over to my place, well my ex-place. What me and Cyn have is great but after what James said, it made me reconsider everything ..

I barged into his house like I owned the damn place. In which, I pratically did but ehh ...

"Ay! We ai- Mena?" James stood up skeptical.

"Hey, James, miss me?" I dap him.

"U-uh" He cleared his throat. "I wasn't expecting to see you anytime soon .."

"Oh."

I sat down in the suede chair across from him. He retained his seat then grinned a lil.

"Well I'm glad you're back, the team would b-

"Who said I'm back?" I laughed.

"Um your not?"

"Let's dish that out the window."

"I mean I thought that was why you was here to-

"Think smarter next time."

"Ok on that note," he repositioned himself in the chair. "Why are you here?"

"Just came by to uhhh ... to check up on things."

"Is that right?" He cackled.

"Yeah." I smiled. "Gotta see how much of ass yall are without muah."

"Yeah, we been doing alright if you may ask, aside from that hole Luke shot us in."

I sat up straight and rolled my chair closer to the desk. I crossed both of my briefly on the desk.

"What you mean? The hell been go-

We both shot our eyes to the door, hearing a knock on the door. It opened slowly and sum splendid fella barged in.

He was lightskin with a chipped- jawline. His tattoos covered magority of his body.

"What you want man?" James hissed.

"Awe, is that a way to greet your new artist." He joked.

James didn't look pleased by his appearance.

"If you ain't got shit important to say, bounce."

"Actually, I do but I see you busy."

The dude haven't yet to notice me. He was too busy stuck on James. I pondered in my chair, exiting out of thier conversation.

My phone brightened up indicating a facetime call from Cyn. I quickly declined without hesitation. Of course, I don't mind hearing my babe voice but now isn't a good time.
