Sleep dragged me further into the depths of my subconsciousness where my dreams lay in wait, idly dormant but sprang into life as I returned, filling my mind with bright yet strange adventures, some that were part of my memories and others were completely made up, giving me no control over the flow of the visions. Some of the dreams made me laugh hysterically at the memory of my father accidentally tripping into a pond while he was messing with a portable sensor array when we were battling against the giant mutant talking rabbits that had invaded Lego Land on Easter Sunday, they claimed that they were delivering the Easter eggs, however they were not made of chocolate but of an explosive compound which would have detonated when the foil was unwrapped. Other dreams made me severely homesick as I watched a normal day back at home, in the TARDIS. It was nothing special, just me, Kara and The Doctor, going through out normal daily lives, Kara was quietly complaining of the mess in the control room and running round with a duster while I eagerly leaned over the Doctors shoulder listening as he explained how to maintain the TARDIS's electrical circuits and how to properly purge the system before doing a full diagnostic without having to land the TARDIS. This was a normal start of the day for me and oh, how did this make my hearts ache, this may never happen again. I reached my hand out to touch the cold, metal railings and to feel the console, smiling as it thrummed contently and the usual vibrations increased, as though she was happy and then, as usual, another dream enveloped me, but it was not of my making as it sent fear piercing through my hearts.

I felt the sweat starting to form on my forehead and the palms of my hands as I looked upon a war zone, the sky burnt orange and the land was crumbling and crushing as explosions rained down from the sky, people screamed and sirens wailed, reminding me of WW2 in which i had been trapped in. I did not know this planet, this war or even this memory but I felt like I should, and I knew that this was not mine. A crowd of people ran around me, all were dressed in red coloured clothes and their faces all wore the same expression of fear mixed in with dirt and blood, all were screaming, calling for each other, running for their lives as more explosions buffeted the ground. I got knocked to the ground and pain lanced down my left leg as it got trampled by the crowds of running people, this felt so real. I managed to pick myself up, the unknown fear pulsing through my very being and the shiver upon shiver ran down my spine violently. In the sky, I saw a gigantic dark cloud zoning in on us, closer and closer. EXTERMINATE! The cloud seemed to scream, and I realised that the cloud were actually millions of Daleks screaming and cackling in their killing spree, shooting bolts of blue with extreme accuracy and the people around me fell as their bones lit up and their bodies dropping to the ground lifelessly. The sirens got louder and the bombing increased shaking the ground beneath my very feet. And without any warning, a sudden urge to run against the crowd, towards what they were running away from filled my body, and my limbs started to move at their own accord, fighting against the crowd, dodging the blue blasts and explosions that dropped from the sky like rainfall, I needed to get there, no matter what as the fear that wasn't mine filled me more stronger than ever. I fell a few times as the seemingly impenetrable wall of running people loomed over me, but i kept on, determination making me move quicker and more desperately. Short gasps escaped my lips, the sky grew darker and the ground seemed to burn beneath my feet as steam escaped the cracks in the dirt. The crowd of running people seemed to disappear and I was alone in a burning city, flames towering up to the sky, dancing with the cloud of Daleks.
