I ran back down the corridors as fast as my small feet could take me, my hair  was a mess as it streamed behind me like a kite, and my breath came and went as short gasps. Tears stained my cheeks but my eyes refused to let anymore tears fall, as I concentrated on a quick plan. The Master still doesn't know what I have seen and what I am going to do, but I knew that he will find out eventually, as soon as he has finished with Einstern, his mind will look for me. So little time for a big plan, a plan that probably will end up with me getting killed.

Further down the corridor there were a small group of soldiers chatting near a water tank, their rough laughs and childish elbowing told me that they were daring someone to do something, but I didn't pay any mind to them as I slowed down to a walk and silently passed them, trying to to bring any unwanted attention to myself. After them, the corridors were practically empty so I hurried to a small jog, aware of the time ticking by.

Minutes later, I arrived at the corridor in which the room where my family were being held in, the two soldiers stood stiffly, staring at the opposite wall while the automated gun buzzed intermittently. They didn't know i was there as I silently slid into the control room next to the room my family was in. Inside the control room, there were two people sitting facing away from me, staring aimlessly into the wall covered in monitors. The two men was laughing at something on a monitor and checking out young ladies by zooming the cameras in, while they gorged on a box full of doughnuts. I mentally and physically prepared myself for something that I had never done before, and even thinking about it made me feel nervous.

I slowly crept up behind them, like a lion stalking prey, being careful not to step on the various crisp packets and cans that littered the blue carpet. The men were unsuspecting. Quickly I grabbed their heads in my hands, reaching out with my mind I quickly invaded and induced a temporary coma, but not before one of them gasped "What the he.." His voice cut out as they both slumped in their chairs, their doughnuts falling to the floor, forgotten.

Breathing heavily, I concentrated on hacking the security system for this level, taking one of the ID chips from the men and manually overriding the security system, rendering the automated weapons to be put into hibernation mode. I also managed to put the security cameras onto a continuous loop, so when I finally help my family to escape, the staff won't be alerted by people watching the cameras. I mentally patted myself on the back, pleased at myself for not being totally useless with technology. However, something caught my attention on one of the monitors in the centre of the wall, the rest of the prisoners that I saw earlier were being marched out into the courtyard of the base, and then being thrown back in to one of the big blue storage containers, where more prisoners were being kept. There were at least a dozen storage units, all were filled with prisoners packed like sardines, my hearts ached at the thought of how cramped it was in their, with barely any food or water. I shook the thought from myself, as I knew that if my plan succeeds, they will be saved and freed once and for all.

Turning back towards the door, I peaked back at the unconscious men, who looked like they were getting an afternoon siesta.

I opened the door silently to glance at the two soldiers who were still staring at the opposite wall, the automated gun no longer buzzed.

"This is going to be the hard part" I whimpered to myself

I knew that I was physically stronger now, with this new mutation that the Master had given me, but the thought of fighting people gave me the shudders. However, I wasn't alone. Within my mind, I called upon the feral me, who awaited patiently as though she knew what was going on. I allowed her to take partial control of my body, and before giving her a stern warning, I let her loose on the two unsuspecting men.

She was fast and agile as she used my body to sneak up on them lithely, she then quickly struck the nearest soldier just as he started to turn towards her. He fell to the ground, his nose bleeding as he tried to get back to his feet, but she took a leaf from my book and mentally attacked him and put him into a coma. However, this took too long and the other soldier raised his gun and used it to hit my shoulder, sending me sprawling to the floor with pain lancing up my shoulder. A feral snarl escaped my lips, but she was relatively undamaged as she crouched on all fours and flung herself at the soldier, grabbing his gun and throwing it the the floor, scratching his face and skin, growling and hissing as he struggled. After a while, she managed to hit the back of his head, and with a painful gasp, the muscular soldier fell to his knees and onto his front, unconscious. With the ID  chip that I stole from the control room, I swiped it into the machine, and the door swung open, leading to the small room covered in guns, which were noticeably deactivated.

My hearts pounded and my skin began to sweat, my teeth nibbling delicately on my lips, wondering if the Master knows yet. The second door swung open, revealing all of my family and friends grouped together at the door, obviously wondering what the commotion they heard was about. As soon as they saw me, I managed to flash them my best smile.

"You wanted a plan Martha? Well I'm telling you now, it isn't the best one and probably involves Jack dying a lot" I folded my arms and raised my eyebrow as they stared at me in disbelief, and then breaking out in large smiles.
