AUTHORS NOTE:

Hello readers, just wanted to say that I do not own Doctor Who or any of it's characters, only the characters that i have created such as the Doctors daughter "Ashly" or 'Ash" for short and also the Doctors wife "Kara".

This story starts just after the "End of Time" Episodes but includes characters such as Jack, Martha, The Doctor, The Master (John Simm version with blond hair) and the two completely made up characters Ashly and Kara. But it has a certain twist with the Master that some people may find cool or think his character is totally ruined. Sorry if that is the case, this is my first story on Watpad so i hope it goes well. Enjoy :)

CHAPTER ONE

Terrified muffled screams echoed through the underground tunnels of the science facility based on Planet Mercer, the most carnivorous planet throughout the Mute Galaxy.

Thirteen figures emerged from a side tunnel, their feet pounding against the metal grating on the floor. Six of the figures were held captive, their heads were covered with green canvas bags and their hands were bound behind the backs with unbreakable cuffs. Behind them were six burly looking soldiers, all clad in black, all holding automatic plasma rifles pointing intently at the prisoners head just in case they decided to do a runner. The thirteenth man led the figures through a series of tunnels, occasionally some lights on the wire strewn wall would flicker into life, revealing his broad, muscle covered form and his long, billowing leather coat which had seen many violent years of bloodshed and hatred. From somewhere in the tunnels, rhythmic pattering of rain dripped from the low cracked ceiling and small rodents scurried from wall to wall, desperate to get away from the group.

The narrow tunnels became wider and much cleaner the further they got, also more guards and scientists passed more regularly, all their eyes were filled with curiosity as the captives passed them, whom some were still whimpering.

"Looks like we got some more to test..." One of the scientists murmured to the other, his white coat was coated with thick grey dust, his hair was obviously ruffled and his thick rimmed glasses were steaming up.

Finally, after going up a few flights of steel stairs, the group of thirteen entered a giant rectangular room, transparent pipes towered from floor to ceiling, turquoise liquid bubbled and hissed within. Desks were dotted around the room here and there, most held residence to piles and piles of documents while others were home to pencil pots, computers and other specialist equipment. The floor was white and pristine, the tiles reflected their images as though they were mirrors, the walls were also a clean white too except for the far side wall which was entirely a large window wall, the room beyond was dark and difficult to see through but people who stared into the dark always felt as though they were being watched. In the centre of the room was one large desk with thirty sleek monitors stacked onto each other, some of the monitors showed other rooms of the facility and the perimeters of the base while others showed inside the room beyond the windows, their screen black. Directly in front of the desk was what looked like a surgery table, various mechanical arms holding needles and scalpels were raised into the air above the table where the 'patient' would lie strapped down with large, tough restraints.

The lead man gestured to his team of soldiers to tie the captives to the silver manacles attached to the white pristine tiled floor. Through the glass sliding doors behind them came an elderly man with pure white wispy hair and refreshing blue eyes. His skin was paper thin, almost translucent and his nose was slightly bent as though it has been broken many times when he was younger. As he walked towards the group, he got side tracked by his lab coat buttons, which only made his snails pace walk much more slower.

"Hey Einstein" called the lead man with a rough, masculine voice

"Its Einstern, Einstern for crying out loud! Can't you army folk get anything right?" Despite Einsterns frail appearance he still had a strong, loud voice which was layered with a thick Russian accent.

"Yes Einstern us 'army folk' can get things right, more so than you 'science morons'" growled the lead man impatiently

"Well Gunner, that remains to be seen" muttered Einstern

The men's attention turned towards the six captives who were chained to the floor, three of them remained still and quiet while the other three struggled, occasionally whimpering in fear.

"Who are they then?" Asked Einstern curiously

"I caught these six in the lower levels trying to free the test subjects, one of them had psychic paper, but it didn't work" explained Gunner, his grey eyes fixed on one of the captives, his expression told Einstern that he was annoyed at that particular captive by just the way he had his jaw set.

"Why bring them here? Shouldn't they be in the slaughter house for trespassing?" Growled Einstern.

There was a moments pause.

"I'd thought you might like some more subjects to test, y'know with 'it'" Gunners gaze flicked towards the black glass room.

"It's sleeping but i guess we can do a few tests... Wait, theres males in that group, i can only test females" Einstern complained

"I know, but these people wanted to know what happens here in the maximum security lab, i just thought we could show them, especially when things go bad and blood is involved" murmured Gunner.

A muted whimper emanated from one of the captives.

"Your cruel Gunner, so cruel. But i suppose it's a worthy punishment. Let's begin the tests, get those silly green bags off their heads.,. I want them to see..."
