This was actually written over a year ago and originally published under the title "Stand By You" by GrootGirlGoneBad (my old account). "Chaotic Neutral" is the remastered edition, meaning I have made a few subtle changes to improve the story.
Don't worry if the events seem OOC, unrealistic, or confusing, I do have an explanation that can be found in the closing author's notes.
Takes place in Gotham City around three years after Cassandra joins the Batfamily.
