Chapter 6: Not anymore

I was about to faint...I was on the floor, I could not hear anything but the sound of my own heartbeat and the dull banging of the door. Everything was going blur in my sight. Terrified, I tried to get up and escape from the back door, but I couldn't even lift my head up. Tears were rolling down my face, hitting drop by drop on the floor. My heart was heavy, I didn't know I was going to faint. Instead, I thought they were my final moments because life flashed in front of my eyes. There, I blacked out and then I fainted. After a few hours, I feel so refreshed, I find myself still lying on the floor. The lights were switched on. I find it difficult to get up, but I try my best, I take support and get up. I peeped out of the window, there was nothing, there were lights, my phone is right in my pocket. But, how strange is all this? I remembered the things that happened before I fainted. I turned off the mains, it was dark, the dark matter was banging the door, I accidentally threw my phone. but, my phone is right in my pockets, its not dark, there's no one outside. I remember calling the cops before I blacked out, but no one showed up. I went into my room and started searching more about comets on the internet. As I described in the previous chapters, It could either be hallucination or  these strange things are really happening. I got scared. I didn't want to call my parents because they would not believe what I said and also they are busy. So, I thought It would be best to tell Aetos and Fidi (But not Tiria because you know, I wasn't much of a friend to her) . It was a conference call. "Hey guys, um, I lied to you, I'm sorry, My parents did not come home. I wanted you guys to be safe, that's it." I said. "What are you talking about?" , said Aetos with a high voice. "I didn't get you." , said Fidi. "I mean guys, you remember you guys came over and I told you guys to leave a day ago?", I replied. "I'm in Hawaii, with my family, I never visited your home.", said Aetos. Fidi said, "Lykos, Lykos, listen maybe you need some help , call your parents up, we never visited your home, what are you talking about?" . My hand went loose. My eyes were filled with tears, about to roll down my face. My lower jaw was shivering, out of fear. I accidentally threw my phone before I end the call. I fell on the bed looking right at the ceiling. I could hear the slow voices of Fidi and Aetos "Lykos? Lykos, are you there?". They, then cut the phone call. I, then, realized, It was all hallucination. But I cannot believe, If what I am seeing or experiencing right now, is hallucination or not.  I may be sleeping on my bed, and this is all my imagination which is only harder to get out. I could not take it anymore. I sat on my bed, looking out of the window, expecting something good to happen. I looked at the sky, dark and beautiful with a lovely moon. Tears were rolling down my eyes. I was hating myself. Suddenly, the electricity in the whole city had gone, except for my house. I started crying hard. "No, No ! Not anymore! Not again! WHY GOD!? WHYYY? " , I yelled. I then decided I'm not gonna get scared anymore. It's all my imagination. None of this is real. They can't hurt me. So, I just run out of the house. It was all dark, not even a single light. The sky was clear, it was dark too. The sky and the surroundings looked same.....pure darkness. It was as if someone blindfolded me. I carefully make my way back into the house. I thought I should not be a coward anymore. I should face my problems. So, I did realize that it was hallucination and quietly went back to my room. I opened my laptop and wanted to distract myself by spending some time on Facebook but there was no internet connection, no signals were being received by my phone. I thought I would quietly go to sleep, without over thinking. I brush my teeth, go back to my room, sleep on the bed, and cover myself with a thick woolen blanket. Minutes passed, right when I was going to sleep, I hear a thud. It was like someone hit the main door. I suddenly opened my eyes wide. I slowly uncover myself from the blanket. I get up. I wasn't scared. I took my baseball bat from the cupboard in my room, I opened my room door, I  slowly start walking down the stairs, making no sound. I enter the living room. I walk towards the main door, My heartbeat was raising, I still wasn't scared, but eager to see who was thereon the other side of the door, wanting to know how my imagination would trick me. But suddenly, I had this feeling that it wasn't my imagination and these events are for true. Maybe only the dark matter banging my door was a hallucination and what's happening now is real. but then I diverted my thoughts so as to not get scared. I was close to the door. my bat was ready in my hands. As I slowly peep through the peephole in my door, It was dark, I don't find anything. So, I quickly open the door and swing my bat into the area. I found nothing. I go outside but I couldn't see anything. I go back to the kitchen, get a torchlight and check once again, I find nothing, So I gave up on searching, while returning back into the house, I found a note stuck onto my main door, maybe that was the sound made when it was stuck. Someone stuck it. I then got shocked by seeing what was written on it. It said, "He's coming. Get ready."
