Chapter 7: I'm done [FINALE]

"He's coming, Get ready.", said the note. I got so scared. I locked in the main door and quickly ran up to my room. I locked my room too. I cover myself with the blanket and tried to sleep, so the night would be over and I will not over think. This all could be hallucination too. Suddenly, I hear a door opening. I could hear it because it was all quiet. I quickly get up, because when all of this is happening, I couldn't let myself sleep. I grab my bat back again. I slowly make my way through the stairs into the living room. I started moving towards the main door, step by step, the only sound I could hear was me taking long breaths. As I moved closer to the door, I heard a growl and it did not sound like a human, My eyes were wide open, my rate of breathing increased. I slowly turn my head around and my eyes were pointing towards the floor because I thought it would be a dog, but ....turns out to be........It was that same DARK MATTER. I slowly raised my head up to see the giant 7 foot matter. I got so scared, I started to think how did it enter into the house. Now, I remember that I only locked the main door, not the backdoor. It entered from the backdoor. I lost the grip on my bat out of shock and it fell on the ground. I didn't want anymore of this to happen so I yelled "Who are you? What do you want? Why are these things happening to me?". So that seven foot tall giant dark matter revealed itself, it uncovered itself with that dark matter and showed its original form and my god, this was the most shocking of all the things I've experienced. It was ME. I mean, it was another Lykos. He started coming towards me, he has this evil smile on his face. He said, "Well, well ,well Hello , Lykos, from another universe. I'm you". "Bullshit, you're not ME. You're from another universe." . He started laughing, but that laugh was so scary. "Why are all these things happening to me? These strange things.......they are messing with my mind.", I said. "Well, what do you do, when you lose your place, in your universe, I mean, when you die, in your universe?" asked the other Lykos. I replied, "I don't know, maybe go to hell or heaven?". The other Lykos said, "But that didn't happen to me, I was dead when the comet passed, and I got this strange power of crossing universes , So, I decided I would choose a universe and kill the Lykos there, in that universe and take his place.". I asked, " But why only me? there are infinite universes.". He answered, "but you resembled me the most". Then, he suddenly took out his dagger and tried to attack me, but I grabbed his hand, after all, he's ME and we both have almost same strength. "You have fallen to my tricks, Lykos. Haha! Now , I'm the Lion and You're the deer." I pushed him away, pointing my finger towards him , I said, "Fuck you. My name is Lykos and it means "Wolf". The Lion maybe the king of the jungle but a wolf never performs in a circus, you freak!" He started coming towards me, He tried to punch me on my face, but I blocked that punch, I grabbed his right hand, with which he caught the dagger and tried throwing the dagger away. He punched me on my stomach, 3 times, 4 times, he kept on doing that. I felt weak, I started spitting blood, my teeth were red. He then took my baseball bat which I threw and hit me hard in the face. It was painful. Everything was blur, I still kept quiet thinking that this was hallucination but it didn't seem like one. Life flashed in front of my eyes. He then took his dagger and pulled my hair, so as to get my neck in the the position to slit my throat and kill me. I was bleeding a lot. I then took my baseball bat, It was in my reach, and hit him on his leg, He fell down. I hit him hard on his face a lot of times but eventually he traced my fight moves and caught my arm and stabbed me in my leg. It was painful, He then put me back into the original position and tears started rolling down my face. He then slit my throat with his dagger. I was bleeding, I fell down and I blacked out. I passed away. But that other Lykos didn't take my position. I mean, He didn't replace me. Because my parents had reached home from their work. He fled away. Then what was the point of killing me. My parents were heartbroken, seeing his son's dead body, full of blood, and his eyes open, by the time they reached home. They called the cops, they knew it was a murder, because it looked like one, but the cops announced it as a  suicide. Little did they know, That it was Lykos who killed Lykos and the finger prints on the dagger were mine because we both were same. All this was not hallucination. Now you might be thinking, I'm Lykos who's narrating you the story as I said in the first page , "I'm Lykos and I'm the one who'll guide you through my story." Well , you might be thinking how am I still alive? Well, I'm the Lykos who killed the original Lykos, settled in another universe. NOW ENJOY THIS BITTER TRUTH.
