"There's always hope" -The Doctor

When the lights shakily came back on, a stone angle appeared at the bottom of the stairs, it's hands over it's face as if it was crying.

"What..." I managed to say before the lights dimmed again. The angel's hands had been lowered from its face.

Wary of this strange phenomenon, i started backing back up the stairs. The lights went out again- and the angel was on the landing.

"What are you doing? Are you Matt or Chris? Or did you get David down here to dress like that?" David was Chris' friend from school who I could imagine pulling this sort of prank.

Suddenly the doorbell rang. I flicked my gaze over to the front door. It was David. I looked back at the basement... and screamed.

The stone angel was leaning over me, teeth bared, hands clawing mere inches from my face. So I slammed the door in IT'S face.

I listened to the Clunk, Clunk, as it fell back down the stairs, and locked the door to be safe. I looked back at the frount door to see David's fleeing form through the window. I could vaugly hear him yell "Monster! Monster!"

Then the angel started banging on the basement door. I flinched and threw my weight against the door to keep it from getting out.

It kept hitting harder and harder, and just when I thought I couldn't hold it back, the house filled with a whooshing noise.

I looked around wildly and pulled my phone out of my pocket. The police could handle whatever the angel was doing now, right? I was about to hit the call button, when I realized with the whooshing noise, a large, blue thing was appearing.

A blue box, the blue box from my dream, materialized in front of me. There was a banging noise, and the same man from my dream stepped out and looked at me.

"This isn't the lost moon of Poosh," he looked at my cell phone. "and it definently isn't 1167. Awww, can't I go where I want after a regeneration?" He seemed to ask the box.

The angel started banging again. I hadn't even realized it had stopped. "You're from... sorry, but who are you? And your box says police... can you help me with this-" the angel gave a particuarly hard bang, "-thing?" I asked.

"I'm the Doctor, but the most important question is: what is banging on that door behind you?"

"Nothing-oof!- Probobly just my brother pulling a prank." I explained.

"What does it look like?" he questioned.

"Well Dr.Whats-Your-Face, it-Gah!- looks like a stone-will you cut it out!- angel."

I swear all the blood in his face was gone in a second.

"Stone angel?" I nod. "Get in the TARDIS," He ordered.

"Why-" I started. "Get in the box NOW!" He screamed.

I took a deep breath. If this was anything like my dream, there would be a whole other world inside that box. I ran in... and fainted.

~~~~~~~~~~
"Hello?" a voice asked.
I rolled over grumbling that I wanted 5 more minutes to rest.
"Ummmm... OK?" the voice replyed. The voice that wasn't my mom's.
I shot strait up and colided with something hard. But i didn't care. I was still in my dream. The man was there, and so was the huge glowing orange interior of the box! I admit I panicked. So when I saw the man sitting next to me rubbing his head, I screamed at the top of my lungs.
He flinched. "Do you always go around giving people as much of a headache as you can?!" he asked.
"You're...you're..." I clamped my mouth shut.
He looked at me curiously. "I'm... what?"
"That was just a dream, though!" I told him about how I saw him and his box.
"Now I know that seeing your first alien is hard to take in..." he started.
"Alien? There were no aliens in my dreams," I explained.
He gave me that same curious look. He had messy dark blond hair and chocolate-brown eyes. He was probobly in his early 20's, but those eyes! They looked so old, and wise, and knowing, yet also the saddest I've ever seen.
"How long have you been having these dreams?" he asked.
"They started when I was 13..." I said.
"And how old are you now?"
"16," I replied. "But when was there aliens?"
He paused. "I'm an alien. The weeping angels are aliens."
I was confused. "Wait, what? But you're not small and green. And where's your spaceship?"
"You're sitting in it. And its a TARDIS. It can travel through time. As for the weeping angels- those stone angels- they just fly," he explained.
"But... then where's my brother?" I asked, preparing for the worst.
Don't say it, I thought. "I'm sorry," he told me gently, patting me awkerdly on my back. Well he didn't say it. And something was telling me that he was telling the truth all this time. I let out a wimper. I didn't even cry for a few seconds. When tears did come, though, they were big and uncontrollable.
After a minute of crying into my hands, I looked up. The man was sitting crossed- legged in front of me. "You OK?" he asked.
I nodded and sniffed."How did they die?"
"Probobly old age... or the side effects of old age." he said.
I had trouble taking this in. "Wait, the angel kills them by aging them?!"
"No, they just send them back in time and let them live out their life," he explained.
"That means they're still alive!" I yelled and jumped up. " You said this thing traveled in time. All we have to do is go back in time and find them!"
He got up, too. "Woah! Hold your horses! Ooh, I like that. Hold your horses... Right, sorry. We can't save your brother! This is a fixed point in time which is not to be meddeled with!"
"Whats the fixed point? Is it fixed that I yell at you to SHUSH and take me to my brother?" I started walking very agrily towards him." I don't know and don't care who you are, but you are taking me back to find my brother whether newton's laws agree with it or not!" I jabbed him in the nose, spun around and sat in a nearby seat with a huff.
The man rubbed his nose. "Ummm, it's not newton's laws, and I have a very sensitive nose so don't touch. Please and thank you," he snapped.
"But what if time is fixed that we go back and save them? Can't we at least stop by to see them? Please? It's my brother. And friend. And cat!" I pleaded.
I must have looked very desperate, because his eyes softened. He walked to the thing in the middle of the room and said "OK. But we need to get to your house and find that angel first if we want to find him! I'd hang on to something if I were you. What's your name?"
"Catherine, and what's your's again?"
He smiled and said, "The Doctor!"
He flicked a switch and then we were off.
Okay, so, long chapter. I going to update whenever i can, but that may take a while, with school and stuff, just to warn all of you reading. Quick random fact: theres a bird in my backyard at the moment singing the tune from the Hunger Games that Rue *sobs* would sing. I'll post the next part of this story when i can. See ya! ;)
